We're soon to be wishing our wonderful Property Director, Donald Stevenson, a happy and truly well deserved retirement. As such, it means that we're delighted to be in the market, looking to hire a Property Director at RedCat Group, to fill these rather large metaphorical boots! This position, reporting to the Executive Board, will play a critical role in driving the strategic growth and management of the RedCat and CIG’s property portfolio. The Property Director will lead and drive property acquisitions, disposals, and the ongoing management of the estate to ensure operational efficiency, profitability, and alignment with the company’s long-term business goals. We've got very ambitious and clear growth plans and this person will be responsible for shaping and leading that acquisition strategy. This role will report to the Group Property Director. Our new Property Director will be responsible for strategic growth through M&A, lease renewals, disposals, capex planning and all aspects of property and estate management, including management of maintenance contracts. We're thrilled to announce the reopening of our latest investment project, Ye Olde Windmill Pub This beloved local has undergone a stunning transformation, with an interior and exterior refresh, new state-of-the-art kitchen equipment, and lawn improvements to their iconic Bowling Green. While our talented team, led by Amy, worked tirelessly throughout the renovation period, they've also been busy upskilling. From service training to cocktail masterclasses and a cook-off for the new menu, they're ready to deliver an exceptional experience. The refurbishment has already seen a significant boost in sales, and we can't wait to see what the future holds. With incredible home-cooked comfort food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, Ye Olde Windmill is the perfect place to enjoy a pint with friends or a hearty meal with family. What a weekend! 🎃🔥 Many of our pubs were transformed into spooky havens for Halloween, with themed events, live music, and plenty of frightful fun. A special shoutout to the Blue Bell for their incredible Flambé Circus fire act and live band performance! 🎪🎸 As Bonfire Night approaches, the excitement continued to build. Many of our pubs have extended their dining hours to cater to pre & post-event customers. We're particularly impressed with the Conningbrook Hotel, who hosted a massive community event with over 300 attendees and a spectacular fireworks display. 🎆 We're so grateful for our amazing customers and dedicated teams who made these events such a success. What a week it’s been! We had an incredible day at The Pastures Lodge & Hotel, bringing together our General Managers, Head Chefs, and support team for a briefing focused on plans for the next few months. 🎉 The day gave us a chance to reflect on how much we’ve already achieved together in our journey, while looking ahead to exciting developments in our food offer, enhancing service, and local marketing. Blending its medieval heritage with modern playful touches, the pub’s interior has been reimagined with contemporary finishes, still with all the same charming nooks and crannies, creating the perfect escape for drinking and dining with friends and family in Newark, Nottinghamshire 😊 Tucked inside The Prince Rupert is a brand-new speakeasy bar, ‘The Woolpack’ - a completely unique concept within the growing @RedCat Pub Company portfolio. Opening next Friday (18th October), this clandestine treat will allow those ‘in the know’ moody lighting, killer cocktails, and a nod to the 70s. Alongside the real ales and drinks choices already loved by locals, a bigger, bolder range of spirits, ciders and craft beers will also be available.
