Earlier this month the team at RenewableUK bid a temporary farewell to our Chief Executive Dan McGrail, who is now one week into his posting as interim CEO at Great British Energy. As RenewableUK’s Deputy CEO, I am excited to be leading the organisation and our fantastic team over the coming months. We are in an extremely strong position, having recently surpassed 500 members, and my two equal priorities (can you have two priorities??) are to maintain our consistently high levels of engagement across our broad membership and to support the internal team as we begin the entry into conference season - all against a backdrop of significant policy and industry activity (zonal pricing, electricity market reforms, industrial strategy, CfD auctions, leasing rounds.....) whilst continuing to strengthen our work on skills and supply chain.
