This week our team day had a slightly different focus. We consciously didn’t talk about work pipelines and budgets - we spent our day talking about ourselves.. We discussed how we like to work together, how we work on our own, what we like, what we don’t like. Here are some takeaways: 👉 We miss having a buzzing working environment *TIP*: more in real life time, more connection. 👉 Motivation: WFH has its perks, but it does test our self discipline *TIP*: understand your daily and weekly goals. If you are not completing them, really focus on why. And talk about it. 👉 Procrastination - the silent ninja that gets us when we least expect it! *TIP*: Time block, take regular breaks, get an accountability buddy. 👉 Celebrate: Share the wins *TIP*: whether big or small - it’s always a team effort. Throughout our careers these kind of day have always been met with a ‘we don’t have time’ attitude, but then afterwards, always provide clarity, honesty and actually a lot of value that allow us to think about each other, how we interact with each other and this ultimately drives workflows, ambition and KPIs.
