  • In the run up to International Women's Day, we believe that actions speak louder than words. A key part of our culture is to create a gender-equal workplace, where everyone is valued and celebrated, and women are paid fairly compared to men. We’re proud that women make up over half of our senior leadership team and board, and our mean gender pay gap is slightly in favour of women. Thank you to everyone who contributes to our inclusive culture. #IWD2025

We’re excited to have launched a major retrofit project in Barnes, South-West London, to enhance the energy efficiency of 191 homes. This will involve adding wall and loft insulation, solar panels, double glazed windows, draft proofing and more. Yesterday we welcomed key partners in the project Mulalley, Faithorn Farrell Timms and Salix along with local Richmond Councillors, to have a look around the site. The project is backed by £2.62 million from Wave 2.2 of the government’s Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF), with RHP investing £19 million in this project. Our Chief Executive Sarah Thomas said: “As a socially responsible housing provider, we are committed to making our homes more sustainable. This project is part of a wider programme aimed at improving energy efficiency, reducing fuel costs for residents, and protecting the planet. We’re excited to see the impact it will have on our customers and their homes.” Read more: https://lnkd.in/eAGZbz3K Photo credit: Salix

  • During National Apprenticeship Week we’ve been celebrating our apprentices past and present. This includes Scarlett who completed a Customer Service apprenticeship with us, and has now progressed to a permanent role in our Community Engagement Team. For over 15 years we’ve supported nearly 100 local people to kick-start their career through our apprenticeship programme, which helps people learn while they earn. We currently have five apprentices working at RHP Group, and as part of our values-based approach have worked with our key partners to employ a further six. We’re proud of all the apprentices we’ve had over the years and love seeing how their careers continue to progress both internally and externally! #NAW2025

We’re proud to have completed our Staines Road development in Feltham, providing 28 new affordable homes for local people. The scheme includes a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments, with three designed to be wheelchair accessible, ensuring a range of sustainable and accessible living options. Each home also features a private balcony or terrace, giving residents valuable outdoor space. Our Chief Executive Sarah Thomas says: “We’re proud to provide these high-quality new homes for the local community. This development addresses a real need for accessible and sustainable housing options in the area. At RHP, we’re committed to creating safe, secure homes that not only meet immediate needs but also support a greener, more inclusive future. I wish all our new residents at Staines Road a warm welcome.” Read more: https://lnkd.in/dsT7V_ny

  • In recent months, we've acquired 309 homes from L&Q.   Most recently this includes the stock transfer of 108 homes across the Spelthorne borough in Surrey, which completed on 27 January.   This expands our operating area, whilst remaining close to our existing stock across Richmond, Hounslow, Kingston, and Hillingdon. This is the second stock acquisition we've completed within six months, with 201 homes transferring to us from L&Q in Richmond and Hounslow back in September. Our Chief Executive Sarah Thomas says: “After receiving positive feedback from residents after our first stock acquisition with L&Q, we’re confident we can maintain these additional homes to a good standard. We’re pleased to be able to expand our social impact by moving into Spelthorne, whilst still providing a local service due to its proximity to our existing stock. I’d like to welcome these new customers to RHP – we’re excited to have you as part of the communities we serve.” Read more: https://lnkd.in/eXsSgfJz

We’re proud to have been named as a Top Employer for a third year in a row. Being certified by the Top Employers Institute showcases an organisation’s dedication to a better world of work which is exhibited through excellent HR policies and people practices. Our certification follows a robust and in depth assessment into our people practices and culture. Only 106 organisations across the UK have been recognised as a Top Employer in 2025, and we’re the only housing association to feature. We look forward to using the insight from this to keep improving our employee experience, and in turn provide a better service for our customers. Read more: https://lnkd.in/eb8qA_G3 #TopEmployer2025

  • 🏡🎅 This month we launched the eighth year of our Winter Warmers campaign, dedicated to ensuring the safety and connection of our older customers (who live independently) during the winter months. Customers over 80 have received a comprehensive directory, guiding them to various local support services, along with a supermarket voucher to spend on warming treats. All customers will also receive a phone call from one of our housing team during the winter to check on their wellbeing and offer any support needed. Those over 100 have been gifted hand-delivered hampers filled with winter essentials and festive treats, including thermal slipper socks, tea, soup, biscuits, jam, mince pies, and more. Delivering the hampers in person provided the opportunity to check that everything was working correctly in their homes, especially boilers. We’ve worked in partnership with our gas and compliance partner Smith & Byford, who generously contributed to help us provide meaningful support to older residents during the challenging winter months. Winter Warmers aligns with our purpose to provide safe, secure, affordable homes – opening the door to life opportunities. ❄️⛄ Read more: https://lnkd.in/epF_sxHb

  • Last week many of our colleagues took part in our Christmas jumper day to raise funds for our nominated charity Vineyard Community. The Vineyard is dedicated to helping vulnerable individuals overcome personal crises, and the community at large build stronger bonds. We're proud to have raised funds for such a meaningful cause during this season of giving. Not only was it a day to give back, but it was also a chance to come together and enjoy some festive fun!
