Friday evening was a fantastic time at the Roberts Limbrick & G4C South West Mini Golf Networking Social!    This event brought together a brilliant group of young construction professionals for an evening of friendly competition, idea-sharing, and great conversation at PuttPutt Social. It was the perfect opportunity to catch up, connect, and strengthen relationships across the industry.   A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, including teams from Barnwood Limited , Ward Williams , Quattro Design Architects Ltd , E G Carter & Co Ltd , GSSArchitecture , and Safran. It was great to see such a strong turnout and engage with so many passionate individuals.   Congratulations to the winning team, securing victory by just 3 points – a well deserved win.   Already looking forward to the next one - see you all there! 👏

The Roberts Limbrick Team welcomed 8 of our clients and consultant friends on our Spring Netwalk along the River Wye between Monmouth and Symonds Yat. A glorious sunny day greeted us from the outset and the first stage of our walk along the West bank of the River Wye was completed in just over 2hr 15mins. Ye Olde Ferrie Inn at Symonds Yat West hosted us for our 2hr lunch whilst we all refreshed and recharged from the mornings 5.5mile walk. The return leg of the walk was via the opposite side of the River Wye where we crossed from the West to the East via the Biblins suspension bridge. The pace of the return journey may have felt a little slower but we made it back to Monmouth just after 4pm with 24,000 steps and 11.5miles covered. It was a great opportunity to catch up, chat about ideas and simply enjoy a beautiful day outdoors. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us!

We are thrilled to confirm yesterday's unanimous approval by Wealden District Council Planning Committee of the Reserved Matters planning application for our scheme for 700 mixed tenure new homes at Mornings Mill Farm in Lower Willingdon, East Sussex, for our client Tarn Homes   The designs for this exciting landscape led development have evolved over the past year and required our urban design and landscape teams to prepare a masterplan that balances this new residential settlement with a range of other uses including community facilities, a new school, play/leisure facilities, commercial/employment and medical centre. Our interiors team recently flew out to Spain for a behind-the-scenes look at the COSENTINO factories, where two of their most sought-after solid surface materials, Dekton and Silestone, come to life. The journey kicked off with a fascinating tour of the labs, where innovative products and fresh colourways are developed. This was followed by an inspiring session with Cosentino’s design director, who shared insights into the creative process behind product design and testing. Next, we explored the Inspiration Lab - a space that showcased striking large-format slabs styled in stunning bathroom and kitchen setups, sparking endless design possibilities. The highlight? A deep dive into the manufacturing facilities, witnessing the impressive scale of production - from heavy-duty machinery crafting raw slabs to meticulous hand-finishing techniques. We even got a glimpse into the final stages, where packaging and shipping ensure these crafted pieces reach their destinations worldwide. Finishing touches are now in place for this beautifully designed kitchen! As one of our projects nears completion, it’s a pleasure to see the details come together in real life. The combination of rich cabinetry, warm timber accents, and carefully selected textures are complemented by striking metallics, creating a space that is both functional and inviting. It’s wonderful to be involved with the design and delivery of these units and fantastic to see the Greenfield site finally being developed. Having been part of the site’s redevelopment since its purchase from British Zinc Ltd at the turn of the century, it’s incredibly exciting to see it reach this stage!
