Alongside a coalition of spinal cord injury charities and partner organisations, we are delighted to launch a survey on the need for a National Spinal Cord Injury Strategy! 🧑🦼➡️Should we create a national strategy for spinal cord injury care? 📝What should this plan include? 🤝How can we make sure the plan helps everyone? Our goal is to improve care, support, and rehabilitation for people living with SCI. If we had a strategy, it would be a plan on what good looks like. This is YOUR chance to shape this plan! We invite everyone - those living with SCI, healthcare workers, families, and advocates - to contribute. In 2025 our Frank Williams Academy will be launching a newly established Clinical Advisory Group to support our services and organisational development 🏥 Our advisory group will provide us with professional advice and support, enabling us to check the accuracy and relevance of our health policy and campaigning work, whilst also informing us of emerging clinical issues we should be focused on addressing in our future planning. Spinal Injuries Association's highly anticipated ‘What Matters? 2025’ survey is now live and open for the next 6 weeks!  The annual survey helps SIA learn about the priorities and needs of the spinal cord injury community, so it's extremely important for their continued work.  They're looking to hear from over 1,000 individuals living with, or supporting someone with a spinal cord injury this year. Everyone knows a woman: that could be 𝘆𝗼𝘂, your 𝗺𝘂𝗺, your 𝘄𝗶𝗳𝗲 or your 𝗱𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿. What if I told you that should she or you happen to at some point in life have to permemantly need to use a wheelchair, there could be an issue having tests such as a Mammogram or Cervical smear. A large majority of women can't access these tests and sadly some have had the worst news come late. Together we can change this.
