It was an absolute privilege to show the RIBA South West jury around our Story of Emily Museum project last week. Being able to share the story of Emily Hobhouse through this collection of buildings makes it all so worth it!

The final day of the RIBA South West awards jury visits, has been a fitting finale to the week. It has been a joy to be welcomed into all of the shortlisted buildings and to briefly experience the exceptional architectural projects. Special thanks to the clients and owners, for their generosity, giving the jury access and their time. Visiting the final two projects, of the thirteen strong shortlist, we have been treated again to thoughtful and skillfully orchestrated pieces of architectural design. The friendly and informed descriptions of the projects, given by the architects and clients, showed a sensitivity for the sprint of each location, as well as skillfully considered responses to the objectives of each project. Congratulations to the project teams for their part in creating these special projects. It has been a pleasure undertaking the shortlisting and building visits with you. Thanks also to the team at the RIBA, who organised the visits for us. It all went seamlessly.
