💚 Spiritual practice is my teacher. With practice I have learned to apply in real life and boy does that help me and the team build a #StartUp on strong foundations, creating rules with and for sustainable and psychologically safe interactions for the #FoundingTeam. 💡 The research question is what activities lead to building one? Often times, people think it is laying the first brick. What goes unnoticed is the #fierce #grace of dismantling the towers one may have built before the brick is laid. If that is not done well through close examination and investigation akin to a #researcher #philosopher then you are building on preconceived notions and mental conclusions from past. If you think you bring an open mind and heart you don't as there are barriers that need to be cleared. If not done, you are still building on outdated principles. I just love the urgency of always standing in my own two shoes and encourage those that work with me day to day to do the same. It brings #clarity and #focus embraced in #psychologicalsafety - The 2 companions for life no matter what your station. Here's one example of a ritual that I am designing for our team interaction operating model. Swift #execution in a #SaaS #Tech #Hypergrowth #StartUp #Researchled is rarely sequential. That's what I have most fun working hard on with strategic prioritisation aligning vectors of growth that constantly shift centered on the tenets of #psychologicalsafety in the center of how we create readiness of our team and leaders including myself. #Clarity is 👑. 🚀 Having created our first Psychological Safety framework aligned with First 90 days win themes last night I was encouraged to read this article. I am living it. 🏄♀️ For me, since the start I had clear days marked as Founder Days, Product Days, CEO Days, Researcher Days, Investor Days. This has helped me tremendously in the #cognitive and #heart space and #mindset each role requires. So, for me, I define preparing for #Scale as growth and risk stratification exercise determining: 1. Alignment of common goals and incentives informed by #multicultural diverse ways of working with structured process and tools for execution and respectful collaboration. 2. While my priorities shift but as a #Founder I am still handling multiple roles with always competing deadlines and constraints - That's the test for which I show up every single day with dedication and commitment. #ScaleUp #Growth #BuildingLeaders #Resilience #Adaptability. 3. #NonNegotiables: Everyone has to be sensitive that we are humans working with humans and life happens. In practice that takes innumerable forms and is the #1 priority for me and every leader TaraCares Global. #Decisive #Engage. 4. I attract #culturally #diverse people who almost always have different approach and cultural background than mine but values need to be fundamentally aligned. #SocialPsychology is a cornerstone of our research on #healthyageing as we study complex topics. This research from University of British Columbia and Nottingham published this week in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) analysed survey responses from more than 230,000 people in the U.S. over 10 years and revealed that people’s embrace of certain moral values fluctuates depending on the time of year.
