About us
Zandland was born out of an aim to make amazing, mind-blowing documentaries, and to help make the TV industry more representative while we’re at it. As such, we work to tell under-represented stories around the world with diverse, representative production staff at every level. We try to focus on important stories that are yet to be told and pride ourselves on access to hard-to-reach places and people. We take care to ensure visual flair and gripping story telling, and aim to bring passion and creativity to every project. We primarily work on fascinating character-led stories and international documentaries and podcasts. But we also work on fiction, and branded pieces for organisations around the world.

Well said Ben Mulley. Work hard and make things!
Thought it was time for a LinkedIn update because I just finished my first week in the coolest job in the world at ZANDLAND™ - crazy things coming, watch this space! I honestly can't express how grateful I am for the opportunity, but if, in the future, anyone else finds themselves reading this in the position I was in for the last two years - knowing they want to make crazy documentaries but with no idea how to get a job - it can happen. Work hard, make things (YouTube is the world's best teacher), and try and talk to people who are doing what you want to do. On that note - feel free to reach out to me on here if that is you :) I'll do my best to reply but I don't live on LinkedIn so feel free to stalk me elsewhere.

We’ll be speaking shortly at Content London about the very small topic of the future of content. Come watch if you’re there!

Great to be working with All3Media International
We are thrilled to announce that we will be representing ZANDLAND™'s investigative documentary Barbie’s Dirty Secrets. Following its premiering today at 8pm on Channel 4 in the UK, the documentary will be available to license internationally. Amber Richardson, Unscripted Content Executive at All3Media International, “We are delighted to partner with ZANDLAND on Barbie’s Dirty Secrets. This brand-new investigative documentary marks the third title we are representing from ZANDLAND’s slate following The Secret World of Incels and our upcoming MIPCOM launch The Secret World of Looksmaxxing. A beloved brand, known for celebrating female empowerment, Barbie has fascinated fans and audiences around the world, especially in light of last year’s billion-pound movie, so we are thrilled this expertly told, utterly compelling new documentary is available now for clients around the world to license. Told with the empathy, objectivity and distinct filmmaking ZANDLAND is renowned for and presented by the fantastic journalist Isobel Yeung, we are confident global audiences will find the never-before-seen access into the hidden worlds of Barbie and Mattel utterly compelling.” Josh Reynolds, Creative Director at ZANDLAND commented “We're incredibly proud to announce our latest doc Barbie’s Dirty Secrets, it takes an important look at what goes on behind the scenes of a cultural phenomenon and holds power to account in a way ZANDLAND does best. It's always great to have All3Media International distributing our films and this will be the third one we've collaborated on.”
