𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗘𝘅𝗶𝘁 𝗦𝗹𝗶𝗽 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝟮𝟱 𝗷𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟴 The new A12 eastbound exit slip road on the M25 junction 28 opened to traffic on Monday 3rd March.   Measuring 800 metres long, road users can now travel over Maylands Bridge, one of the first key structures to open on the scheme.   This creates space for the upcoming dedicated loop road from the M25 anticlockwise to the A12 eastbound, set to open later this summer as we work towards delivering a more efficient and safer transportation network for road users.   National Highways   #GRAHAM #highways

𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗛𝗔𝗠 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗔𝟭𝟬 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 GRAHAM has been appointed as the principal contactor for the new pedestrian, cycle, and equestrian bridge over the A10 at Waterbeach, Cambridge. The project commissioned by Urban&Civic, aims to enhance sustainable travel options between the new Waterbeach development, the Science Park, and Cambridge City Centre. We've reached a major milestone as work begins to place new protective layer over historic trenches to permanently dispose of radioactive waste at the Low Level Waste Repository (LLWR) site in West Cumbria. The first rail deliveries, of 280,000 tonnes of aggregate, arrived on site earlier this month and will be delivered over a three year period. Working collaboratively with civil engineering firm GRAHAM Group and specialist transport and logistics provider Nuclear Transport Solutions this is a significant achievement in our Capping Operations helping to protecting people and the environment while radioactivity decays.

𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗶𝘁𝗲🚂 The first rail deliveries of aggregate materials to the Low-Level Waste Repository site for Nuclear Waste Services in West Cumbria have commenced, marking the beginning of an extensive programme of works in nuclear waste management. 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗛𝗔𝗠 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝟯𝟮𝟬 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲 Awarded by Surrey County Council, GRAHAM will deliver critical improvements to the A320 north of Woking, a key infrastructure project funded through Homes England’s Housing Infrastructure Fund. The scheme aims to increase capacity and improve traffic flow on the vital stretch of road between Chertsey and Ottershaw, unlocking future housing developments across Runnymede. Last week we welcomed apprentices and staff from Alan Wood & Partners to our A164 & Jock's Lodge scheme to celebrate National Apprenticeship week. The project team discussed the design and construction of the new Bentley Bridge, and the benefits the project will bring when completed, highlighting the value of apprenticeships in the industry. Apprentice Lauren Rayner said: "It was inspiring to see a major project up close and understand the scale of work involved.
