YOUNG GENERATION & FACULTY FROM FHDW-PADERBORN ON THEIR INSPIRING WEEK IN VIETNAM ✈ We were delighted to welcome the Fachhochschule der Wirtschaft (FHDW)-Paderborn delegation to Vietnam for the third time, strengthening economic knowledge and partnerships. Starting with the capital city of Hanoi, their visit began with an insightful briefing at the Goethe-Institut Hanoi, joined by Goethe-Institut, GTAI, the German Embassy, and AHK Vietnam. Special thanks to Goethe-Institut for providing the event space and ensuring a smooth meeting experience. 🧐 The delegation continued their journey with fascinating visits to B. Braun Group and An Phu Viet plastic factory in Hung Yen, where they explored successful German investments and Vietnam’s dynamic manufacturing sector. 🔎 Additionally, a valuable exchange program with Hanoi University of Mining and Geology allowed students from both universities to share insights on economic development and collaboration. ADVANCING GERMAN-VIETNAMESE COOPERATION IN NEARSHORE WIND ENERGY 🤝 PNE AG's newly appointed CEO, Heiko Wuttke, visited Deutsches Haus Ho Chi Minh City (official) today, where he met the PNE Vietnam Team and held strategic discussions with AHK Vietnam and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. This visit reinforced PNE AG’s commitment to advancing nearshore wind energy development in Vietnam. 🌎 With a $4.6 billion investment, the Hon Trau Nearshore Wind Power Project in Binh Dinh is poised to be a key contributor to Vietnam’s energy transition. The project, aligned with Vietnam’s Power Development Plan VIII (PDP VIII), will be implemented in phases, with 750 MW expected to be operational by 2030. 💡 AHK Vietnam continues to facilitate PNE AG’s engagement in Vietnam by navigating regulatory frameworks, fostering partnerships, and supporting project implementation.
