We are overjoyed to share a summary of our grand 2023, our second year in operation. Below is a recap of a great year, with more to come.
Adani Care Foundation was established in March 2021 as a champion of the underprivileged in rural communities in Nigeria and the Midwest USA. Our goal is to reduce abject poverty and raise the standard of living, in that families should not have to choose between being able to feed and obtaining medical care when they are sick. The problems we solve include hunger, ill health, unemployment, and lack of education / marketable skills. Our particular focus is on widows, orphans, the sick, and the elderly.
In 2022, we helped over 500 families obtain these services. In Fiscal Year 2023, we helped about 900 families, both in the US and in Africa, including providing nursing scholarships for the first time. Our FY 2023 events included:
