The battery world might not be grinning broadly at the moment, but the Battery Innovation Days 2024 in Barcelona brought back questions, ideas, and hopes that we must address without delay. The challenges are significant, but the event provided a vital moment for reflection on what Europe needs to do to progress. A sincere thank you to ACCIÓ for hosting, with special appreciation to Riánsares López and Tomás Megía for their support.
