Exciting News from Chattanooga!   We're breaking ground at the new Chattanooga Lookouts stadium, located at the former historic US Pipe and Wheland Foundry site. Within the 140-acre site and redevelopment, the stadium will highlight the iconic Powerhouse and Pattern Shop buildings which will be repurposed into ticketing, team store, event space, and a stadium food hall.   This renovation seamlessly integrates existing structures within new suites, stadium seating, concessions, and team facilities. Meet Our Engineers: David Smith David has 10+ years experience in structural engineering design and analysis and has been part of the Bennett & Pless Team since 2021. During his career, he has provided engineering and management for both public and private projects with many different construction types including wood, masonry, steel, cold form steel, and concrete. As part of our Chattanooga Department, his project focus has been vast, from small home remodels to hotels, schools, warehouses, etc. one of which received a Top Award for Excellence in Concrete in the state of Washington for Concrete Tilt-Up Buildings. David appreciates the challenge that engineering design brings as well as the payoff of seeing the completed building in use. We are excited to announce a new renovation project! The Cape Fear Regional Theatre project will enhance the current facility with a new building addition. This expansion will include a main lobby, various support spaces, administrative offices, a flexible event space with a catering kitchen, educational areas, stage improvements, a scene shop, and other back-of-house spaces.
