Introducing the Optiwatt mobile app, an electric vehicle charging management platform and key component of South Carolina Electric Cooperatives' EV Charging Program. This innovative tool allows utilities to control charging, manage electric load and support the grid. This will assist electric cooperatives in keeping energy costs low, maintaining grid reliability and continuing to provide excellent service to members. To participate, members of participating co-ops may simply connect their EV to the Optiwatt mobile app or desktop app and enable the SC Electric Cooperatives EV Charging enrollment. No additional steps are required - Optiwatt will automatically handle the rest. For more information and to download the app visit energysmartsc.org.
