Last week, Conifer had the pleasure of hosting the Boys & Girls Club of Rochester for a Career Exploration Day. The Boys & Girls Club of Rochester offers a supportive and engaging environment where kids can develop into their best selves. Their mission is to "inspire and enable young people from all backgrounds to reach their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens through empowering youth programs." During their visit, Conifer had the chance to showcase our work and its impact on our communities. The group toured two of our Rochester communities, Andrews Terrace and 200 East Ave, where they heard from panelists about their experiences with Conifer, the importance of affordable housing, and how our residents are central to our mission. This month’s employee spotlight shines on Griffin Wiegel, a Financial Analyst on Conifer's Portfolio Management team. Griffin joined Conifer as an intern at the beginning of summer 2023. His exceptional work ethic and eagerness to learn earned him a full-time position by the end of the season. Since transitioning into his full-time role, Griffin has continued to excel. As a member of the Portfolio Management team, he engages with various departments both within and outside the company. This extensive collaboration, coupled with his passion for learning, has facilitated his ongoing growth.
