Despite the heat wave, the CORE Builders Pacific Motor Inn team remains cool, calm, and collected. Over the past five months, our team, in collaboration with PATH VENTURES and Super Sub Dome Construction, has been transforming the old Pacific Motor Inn Motel into over 70 transitional housing units in downtown San Jose. Renovating a structure built in the 1960s is no small feat, but our team has been expertly addressing challenges and achieving remarkable results. We’re thrilled to share an exciting update from our Tamien project! The team has successfully completed the podium pour, involving over 800 cubic yards of concrete. This significant milestone marks a major step forward in our project timeline and showcases the hard work, dedication, and expertise of everyone involved. Way to go!

As one chapter ends, another begins…today we are sharing that CORE Builders President Chrissie Davis has decided to step down from her role and pursue her dream of starting her own general contracting company. It is bittersweet to say goodbye to Chrissie, who has been a valued member of the Core family for 14 years, rising from an assistant project manager to the position of President two years ago, while helping foster a culture of integrity, cooperation, hard work, communication, and success.   Chrissie will partner with The Core Companies Chairman David Neale and the rest of the CORE Builders team for the remainder of the year as we work together to identify a new leader who will help us continue to build upon our many successes. We’re excited about the future and remain focused on our mission to build more critically needed homes in Silicon Valley and beyond.   We look forward to welcoming a new member to our team soon.
