We’re incredibly grateful to the DiGeronimo Companies Human Resources team for their hard work during their volunteer day at the Hunger Network's MidTown Market! 💪🍎 This grocery-style choice food pantry serves those in need of healthy, nutritious, and culturally appropriate foods, along with personal care items, and our team was proud to support such an important mission. They packed over 100 "grab and go" bags, restocked freezers, and unloaded 5,000+ lbs of food from the Greater Cleveland Food Bank to help get the market ready for last Saturday’s reopening. We were touched to receive the most heartfelt thank you cards from the kindergarteners at Julie Billiart Schools in Brecksville, where our Special Projects Group just completed a renovation to create this fourth campus for the school whose mission is to nurture and empower students with special learning needs! 🎨✨ To celebrate the creativity of the students, we’ve made a collage of their cards and proudly displayed them in our office as a reminder of why we do what we do. It's a privilege to see how our work as a construction manager directly impacts the lives in our community. Meet Alex Apisa ✨ This past summer, Alex joined our DiGeronimo Development team as a Marketing and Leasing co-op, where he gained hands-on experience at our new mixed-use development, Valor Acres, in Brecksville, Ohio. He played a key role in creating content for both Primer Coffee and Cocktail Bar and Canvas, showcasing the unique offerings of each space. Additionally, Alex assisted with the lease-up process by guiding potential prospects on informative tours, helping them envision their future at Valor Acres. As we head into a week of career fairs, we’re excited to showcase Alex’s contributions and the unique opportunities available to aspiring professionals like him! Last week, DiGeronimo Companies team members stepped up to make a difference at our September blood drive! 🩸 Thanks to 19 generous donors - including 4 first-timers - we collected 17 pints of blood. Each pint can save up to 3 lives, resulting in 51 patients benefiting from their kindness. ❤ The American Red Cross is currently facing an emergency blood shortage and is in urgent need of donors. Our teams are advancing smoothly at our new headquarters in Valor Acres! 🚀 Their dedication and hard work are helping us hit key milestones and keep pushing forward. Their continuous effort is turning our vision into a reality! Here are some exciting project stats: 🏗️ 2,300 cubic yards of concrete 💪 740 tons of steel 🪟 410 panes of glass 🪨 10,495 square feet of stone 🧱 2,565 bricks 👷♂️ Roughly 115 crew members on site Additionally, construction of our 5-story parking garage has officially begun!
