The call for action is louder now than ever before. Thank you to the Climate Group for creating a powerful platform for changemakers to drive and accelerate the energy transition at #ClimateWeekNYC24. I also want to extend my gratitude to the entire Clean Energy Buyers Association (CEBA) team, especially Rich Powell, Nidhi Thakar, and David Fiss, along with my colleagues at #EDPRNA for putting on such a great event Monday night and starting #ClimateWeekNYC24 off right! We are proud to have been able to gather more than 200 clean energy leaders together for insightful conversation and connection at the beginning of an auspicious week full of insight and innovation and a renewed dedication to seeing the energy transition through. Additionally, on Tuesday of #ClimateWeekNYC I joined David Hardy, Sarah Orban Salati, and Lynda Clemmons at a Dynamo Energy Hub-hosted roundtable to discuss one of the major hurdles impacting the pace of the #energytransition, which is the lack of action and innovation around #transmission. In order to continue the necessary growth of renewables, we need to modernize the power grid while working to utilize #distributedgeneration technologies that provide reliable, onsite, clean energy generation. Special thanks to Kristin Barbato for moderating such an insightful panel, as well as Meade Harris for having me join this exceptional conversation. Wrapping up an inspiring week, it’s clear that collaboration and bold action are key to accelerating the energy transition.
