It's been a great week at the Long Term Care International Forum annual conference connecting with peers and fellow industry leaders and sharing insights. Today marks the start of Customer Service Week, an opportunity to recognize and appreciate the important role our customer service team plays here at FedPoint. This year’s theme is "Above and Beyond"—a phrase we think aptly describes the service our team members provide day in and day out as they navigate a variety of customer needs with patience and empathy in support of our mission to create and deliver world-class benefits experiences for our customers. We track feedback from the enrollees in the programs we administer. What a fantastic BENEFEDS Marketplace Meeting we had last week in Arlington, VA! 2024 will be the 19th Federal Benefits Open Season that FedPoint has worked with the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) to facilitate enrollee dental and vision benefits under the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP). Currently there are more than 9 million participants in the program covering the #federal family, retired members of the U.S. military, and family members of active duty family personnel. This year’s BENEFEDS Marketplace Meeting brought together stakeholders across the #federalbenefits landscape to discuss program updates, new dental shopping tools designed to facilitate price transparency, a new educational program focused on highlighting the significant impacts dental and vision care have on overall health, and showcased technology designed to improve the federal family’s enrollee experience under #FEDVIP. The meeting offered the opportunity for attendees to hear updates from key OPM leaders as well as dental health experts from around the country and agency benefits officers who advocate for employees across the federal government and help keep enrollees informed of the latest benefits.
