We are so thankful for our partnership with GORUCK. We provided GORUCK participants with special WWII Fallen Hero Memorial Bibs. These photos were taken at Pointe du Hoc with a group of WW2 veterans. On June 6, 1944, U.S. Army Rangers climbed the 100-foot cliffs of Pointe du Hoc, destroyed a critical German battery, and took control of the coastal highway, playing a crucial role in the Allied success of D-Day. #DDAY #EveryDayIsMemorialDay #MemoriesofHonor GORUCK

GET OUTSIDE WITH RUCK MEETINGS "Rucking Meetings Improve Productivity, Relieve Zoom Fatigue, and Burn More Calories than Walking. Ruck meetings have become one of my favorite ways to be a 2-Percenter. They’re just like walking meetings, but better. I started experimenting with rucking meetings during the summer of 2020. This was peak pandemic. I was moving less and incessant phone and video conferences in my home office felt like they were killing my creativity and productivity. What did surprise me was how rucking changed the very nature of the meeting itself and my work afterwards. During the call, I had fewer distractions and was a more engaged listener. I was zoned into the call and not half-listening as I scrolled the internet from my desk (we all do it). I also felt more rejuvenated once I got back to my office. I cranked out more work and the work was more creative." - Michael Easter, best-selling author, 2-percenter Now that it's heating up, there's no better time to get outside, in the real world, and take on a ruck meeting with your coworkers. Today marks the 80th Anniversary of D-Day or Operation Neptune—the largest seaborne invasion in recorded history. Allied forces suffered around 5,000 casualties and another 5,000 wounded in this attack. My Grandfather was a Marine and served in WWII. Visiting Normandy has always been on my list. So when I heard about an 80km Ruck in honor of the 80th anniversary l from GORUCK I knew I had to go (shout out to Jeff Byers ) It was beyond special to be on that land that is largely untouched and get a bit uncomfortable physically to remember and honor those who gave their lives so we could enjoy the freedoms we have today. The world would be a much different place had the brave men and women of the allied forces and others not stood up to a maniacal dictator. Being there was special but having this experience with two people I admire, respect and love made it that much more special. My nephew Connor Checketts came and captured the entire experience and Tracy Farr my friend and brother who did the entire thing just a week after a 30mile tough Mudder. There’s more to come on the experience including the product testing we did while there but I’ll summarize for now and just say it was really such a privilege. Thank you 🫡 to all those who continue to serve so we can sleep peacefully at night. As divided, complicated and imperfect as our country may be —I remain proud to be an American 🇺🇸 and will continue to believe in the responsibilities we have for the liberty our nations founders created for us.

D-DAY 80TH ANNIVERSARY But for the history, Normandy would have remained just beautiful French farmland, with a nice view of the English Channel. Yet what an honor to breathe the air here, and to meet the people who converge to celebrate the 80th anniversary of D-Day. We ran 12 separate events, exhaustion and camaraderie abound. This was the biggest, most significant events WEEK we have ever put on. Over 500 of us rucked the miles and lined the streets and sidewalks at the end and waved our flags and tried to make our peace with what happened, and what we owe. Thank you to all who traveled from far and wide, literally all over the globe. The high point for me was for my kids to meet some WWII survivors at Pointe du Hoc. There they were and we just walked over and said hello. Ryan blushed and read Don his bio card. Kids light everyone up and Don couldn’t stop smiling. They won’t be here forever and it’s our turn next, and our kids’ after that. This time and this place for the 80th, it can’t be repeated. It comes and it goes too fast, and then here we are and it’s worth a lot. The past and the future all converge into one moment and our hearts grow stronger, even the pieces we leave behind in Normandy France, the most American place on planet earth. -- Jason McCarthy , Cofounder, GORUCK

GROWTH THROUGH SUFFERING ▪️Getting my ass kicked by this 165lbs GORUCK tombstone sandbag in the ally behind Operation Iron Gym. ▪️Preparing for the GORUCK 26.2 mile ruck event in Normandy and the clock is ticking. 💢 Sometimes you’re the hammer and sometimes you’re the nail. Either way… we continue to work. LFG. #MCHN
