🌍🚄 At Keolis Downer, we are proud to be part of the global Keolis Group, majority-owned by Groupe SNCF, France's national railway company. SNCF has been a trailblazer in rail operations since 1938, operating an impressive 2,800 km high-speed rail network, alongside commuter and regional rail services. 🚆 This week, our Chief Commercial Officer, Benoît VO-DINH, had the opportunity to present at the Australasian Railway Association (ARA) High Speed Rail Conference in Sydney. Benoit shared valuable insights into the high-speed rail operations, and what that means in the Australian context, looking at segregated networks vs multimodal networks, multi-operator environments and the opportunity to create value in regional areas though the rejuvenation of stations and places. 🌟 It’s inspiring to imagine a future with high speed rail and how this could shape the future of transport in Australia! #HighSpeedRail #Sustainability #Innovation #KeolisDowner #PublicTransport

Well done to our Yarra Trams team who have transformed six of the busiest tram stops along Collins Street into an open-air art gallery, showcasing stunning First Nations artworks. These beautiful pieces, created by five Wurundjeri-identifying artists, are now installed at the stops between Spencer Street and Spring Street. Working in partnership with the Department of Transport and Planning, our Yarra Trams team has delivered this project to improve the experience of our passengers while celebrating and profiling incredible First Nations talent. To enrich our passengers' journeys, we’ve added QR codes at each stop, linking to a microsite where they can learn more about the artists and the stories behind the artwork. Themes explored include connection to Country, healing, unity, and honouring the generations of ancestors who have walked this land before us. 🌿🖤💛❤️ #FirstNationsArt #PublicTransport #Community #YarraTrams #KeolisDowner #ConnectionToCountry #Sustainability #MelbourneArt #PassengerExperience #Innovation

🚋 Think Like a Passenger 🚋 We’re thrilled to share that our Yarra Trams team has recently reported an outstanding improvement in passenger satisfaction for cleanliness, with ratings nearly tripling at tram stops where we have installed anti-graffiti film. This innovative solution reduces graffiti across the network by having a translucent, patterned film installed at tram shelters. The protective film prevents damage from glass-etching paint, helping to safeguard and enhance our public spaces. Piloted in 2023 at key locations in the CBD and Thornbury, this initiative is now making a real difference in keeping the Melbourne tram network clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone. Together, we’re creating a better experience for all passengers! #ThinkLikeAPassenger #YarraTrams #PublicTransport #Innovation #PassengerSatisfaction #Melbourne #CleanTransport
