"It is going to take industry-wide collaboration to solve our greatest climate challenges." We’re excited to share that Fortera CEO Ryan Gilliam took the TED Countdown stage to share how cement—an industrial decarbonization challenge—can become a solution instead of a problem. With deep expertise in clean technology and manufacturing innovation, Ryan is guiding Fortera to pioneer scalable solutions to decarbonize cement, the primary source of CO2 emissions in concrete, an industry responsible for 8% of global emissions. 🌎♻️ Don't miss this conversation on sustainability, CO2 utilization, and the future of cement. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gJMZPB5b #TEDTalks #TEDCountdown #Fortera #Sustainability #Innovation #GreenCement #Collaboration #ScalableSolutions

Another milestone for eGenesis, Inc.!
Today marks a proud moment for eGenesis as our work to address the organ shortage crisis is featured on the front page of The New York Times. Thanks Roni Caryn Rabin for helping share our story. This story reflects years of dedication, innovation, and hard work by our entire team — scientists, engineers, clinical experts, and partners — all united by a shared mission: to bring life-saving solutions to patients waiting for an organ transplant. The organ shortage is one of the most pressing challenges in medicine, impacting thousands of patients and families. At eGenesis, we are working every day to advance gene-edited organ technology with the hope of one day ensuring that no patient dies waiting for a transplant. We want to take a moment to thank every member of our team - your relentless pursuit of excellence and commitment to this mission makes moments like this possible. We are also grateful to the journalists and advocates helping bring attention to this critical issue, because sharing our story is an important step toward building understanding, trust, and hope for patients everywhere. To everyone waiting for an organ: we see you, and we are working for you. #OrganTransplant #GeneEditing #Biotech #Xenotransplantation #PatientAdvocacy #eGenesis #Innovation

🚀🚀We’re thrilled to announce our international collaboration with Matricelf to scale personalized spinal cord injury treatments using Cellino’s Nebula™ technology and Matricelf’s breakthrough regenerative approach! Cellino successfully manufactured and delivered autologous iPSC lines from four donors to Matricelf, which has now transformed them into functional neural tissues with synchronized electrical activity, demonstrating the high quality of Cellino’s iPSCs! ⚡🧠 By combining Cellino’s AI-driven iPSC biomanufacturing with Matricelf’s 3D differentiation process, this collaboration is advancing the scalability of personalized spinal cord therapies for patients who currently have limited treatment options. We are especially grateful to the incredible Matricelf team—Tamar Harel-Adar, Gil Hakim, and Tal Dvir—for their pioneering work in neural tissue engineering. Most enterprises struggle to leverage internal knowledge because it’s buried inside Salesforce, Slack, Google Drive, and countless other tools. Onyx AI's AI agents unlock this knowledge — and their open-source approach gives teams better privacy, security, and complete customization. Learn more below👇
We raised a $10 million seed round led by Khosla Ventures and First Round Capital! Yuhong Sun and I started Onyx nearly one year ago to make information more accessible at work. Today, our open-source project is deployed by thousands of orgs and used to answer hundreds of thousands of questions every week. In addition to our open-source usage, we’re proud to be working with dozens of amazing enterprise customers. From household names like Netflix, to security-conscious defense companies like Thales Group, to fast growing startups like Ramp, organizations of all sizes are choosing Onyx to help their teams work smarter. Almost every team in the world will experience dramatic productivity increases from generative AI in the next 1-2 years. The key to unlocking this value comes from enriching the general capabilities of LLMs with the unique context of individual teams. We built Onyx with the belief that an open-source first approach is the best way to solve this problem. This is for three main reasons: 1. Your data stays secure. Every team should be able to use generative AI without needing to hand over control of their data. Onyx is built to be self-hosted (and even entirely air-gapped). 2. Complete customization. As AI quality gets better and the cost of development gets cheaper, open source allows you to craft the most suitable custom experiences for your needs. 3. Ship Faster. With the help of our developer community of more than 3,000 strong, we can cover all your edge cases as if we were an organization 100x our size. We’re so incredibly lucky to have amazing partners joining us on this journey, including Liz Wessel from First Round Capital, Adina Tecklu from Khosla Ventures, and Jared Friedman from Y Combinator. We're also thankful for the support of incredible funds like Pioneer Fund and Twenty Two Ventures, along with remarkable angels such as Gokul Rajaram (Coinbase, Pinterest), Arash Ferdosi (Dropbox), Amit Agarwal (Datadog), Kulveer Taggar (Zeus), Immad Akhund (Mercury), JJ Fliegelman (WayUp), Richard Aberman (WePay), and many more who have joined us for the ride. To keep up with the insane demand, we’re hiring multiple Full Stack and ML engineers. If making LLMs smarter and bringing GenAI to all the teams in the world sounds like a mission you’re passionate about, reach out to Yuhong or I — we’d love to talk to you! Or, if you want to learn more about how Onyx can help make your knowledge instantly accessible, shoot us a message.
