⏮️ From Pivot to Progress, A New Chapter for Landng In our latest Substack article, "When to Pivot: Signs It’s Time for a Shift," we bring you along our journey behind the strategic move to better serve luxury travel brands, creators, and travelers. ⏭️ The Pivot: In November 2023, during our venture accelerator program with Blue Startups, we made a crucial shift from an ads model to a B2B2C SaaS approach. This decision was driven by customer discovery insights and aligning our founder-product fit core strengths - social media, influencer marketing, and marketing technology. 🛠️ The Process: The pivot was fast-paced, involving over 100 discovery interviews and mentorship from industry experts, including Patrick Lee, co-founder of Rotten Tomatoes. By focusing on one category, one market, and one segment at a time, we realigned our strategy to meet the specific needs of luxury travel brands. 💡 Key Insights: ▪️Brands were eager for our “social itinerary” technology to track influencer marketing ROI. ▪️Influencers needed stronger financial incentives. ▪️Travelers used our platform, but scaling a user base for ad revenue is extremely resource-intensive. 🏨 Our Solution: We found our first niche, providing luxury hotel groups with tools to measure the ROI of influencer campaigns, a critical gap in the market. 🚀 Where We Are Now: Post-pivot, we've onboarded a stellar development team and strategic advisors from groups like Accor, Omnicom and Meta, and joined the selective Founders Program at STATION F in Paris. We're now gearing up our test launch with luxury creators, and for our demo day at STATION F this June! From insightful discovery interviews to invaluable advice from industry experts, our journey is brimming with learnings and milestones that have set us up for success in the marketing technology sector.
