🌿 We're part of an industry centered around a plant. 🌎 It's time for us to come together and talk more about our impact on the planet, and the cannabis industry's opportunity to create a new, more environmentally sustainable model for how we do business. “At PAX, our ethos is ‘durability over disposability,’ and we’re integrating sustainability into our design philosophy to create long-lasting products,” said Scott Collins, our senior director of product and design. ♻ From products that are built to last (some of which even come with a 10-year limited warranty!) to those that leverage recycled ocean-bound plastic and biodegradable or recyclable packaging, this focus spans everything we do. 🤝 We're even officially certified Plastic Negative across all of our products through our partnership with rePurpose Global, meaning that for any plastic we do use, we're removing twice as much from nature. 👏 Thanks for driving this important conversation forward Andrew DeAngelo! Great to see more focus on this issue and the challenges we face, so we can collectively work toward bold solutions. #sustainability #cannabis #plasticnegative

Do you know what’s in your vape? 💨 Crystalline silica and other hidden carcinogens could be putting you at risk. At PAX, we've developed ceramic formulas that are free from crystalline silica — and we test our products to make sure. Our lungs are one of our most vital organs, so what we put in them really matters. While vape is known for being a better-for-you way to inhale cannabis, vape manufacturing is often marked by a significant variance in quality. Low-grade materials and inconsistent quality control can result in the presence of harmful byproducts, including crystalline silica, which is known to cause silicosis, respiratory issues and lung cancer. Read about how we're prioritizing advanced engineering, high-quality materials, advanced ceramics, and safety testing, to deliver a safer, cleaner system. #cannabis #consumersafety #crystallinesilica

🌿 We were pleased to offer public comment to the Drug Enforcement Administration, in support of the Department of Justice’s proposal to transfer marijuana from Schedule I to Schedule III of the Controlled Substances Act.  Marijuana should never have been classified as a Schedule I drug and rescheduling would be historic, marking the most significant drug policy reform in more than 50 years. This shift in classification would acknowledge accepted medical use, help evolve our understanding of this plant through increased clinical research, and offer positive economic impact in communities across the US. We hope to see the federal government take further steps to fully deschedule marijuana and establish a federally-regulated framework for commercial cannabis cultivation, manufacture, distribution, testing, sale, and advertising. 👉 Read more here: https://lnkd.in/ghjbRFKf

Heat, Never Burn. That's our promise to our customers for cannabis without the harmful byproducts of combustion. 💨 Vape is known for being a better-for-you method of consumption, but many of the simple, voltage-based systems on the market reach temperatures that ultimately combust, burning the cannabis and producing byproducts. 🔥 These compounds—which include tar, carbon monoxide or other toxic chemicals—can be lung irritants or, even worse, carcinogenic. ☠ Our proprietary system delivers patented temperature control, ensuring a cleaner, more flavorful experience. Read more about the benefits of safer consumption and our commitment to excellence. 💚 #cannabis #temperaturecontrol #consumersafety

Since the launch of our first device more than a decade ago, delivering superior products has been at the heart of everything we do. Some call it obsessive, but we don’t know any other way. At PAX, consumer safety and quality are more than just buzzwords. They’re core to our values as a company. Our community relies on cannabis for well-being and deserves to consume products they feel good about. Our products are free from crystalline silica, heavy metals, harmful toxins, contaminants, pesticides, residual solvents or combustion byproducts. Our unique clear air path means that vapor never touches the internal electronics — there’s no “battery air,” ever. Ready to dip your toe into the world of infused cooking? Look no further than Christina Wong, the driving force behind Fruit + Flower Co. Christina joined team PAX today in celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month to talk about the history of cannabis in Asia, how to incorporate the plant in the kitchen, and to share a very special recipe that was passed down to her from her mom. Cannabis and food are powerful community builders and we had a great time, learning together and trying our hand at her Pork Ginger Dumplings with a cannabis-infused dipping sauce. Interested in whipping some up for yourself? Head over to Christina's Substack: https://lnkd.in/gxAWT-n6

Storyteller + Content Creator + Writer + PR Consultant + Community Connector 💮 Where culinary meets cannabis in unexpected ways

Had so much fun showing the PAX team how to make pork ginger dumplings with infused dipping sauce. We made dumplings together and talked about the history of cannabis in ancient Asia, how it was used for medicine and textiles, Magu the Daoist goddess of hemp, and discussed current perception of the plant in modern day Asia. I love this because creating new narratives around shared food and culture can change and shift perspective. Something so familiar and comforting like dumplings, hot pot, mochi, tea, or mooncake makes the unfamiliar feel more welcoming. Thank you PAX Laura Fogelman for having me!

We were thrilled to join colleagues, friends, activists, patients and industry leaders in Sacramento yesterday for California NORML's annual Citizen Lobby Day, to advocate for the rights of cannabis consumers across the state. Special thanks to Laura Schniedwind and Sarah Boué, who represented PAX in these critical conversations with policymakers centered around equal rights, fair taxation, and sensible regulation for cannabis. #cannabis #cannabisreform #publicpolicy #safeaccess
