Our HR Director, Scott Campbell, recently took the stage at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), the largest yearly convention for energy industry professionals from across the globe to discuss innovative ideas and address the most pressing topics in the sector.   At the "Young Professionals: How to Step Up to Impactful Leader and Mature a Young Career" session, Scott shared invaluable insights on navigating the dynamic energy industry and fostering emerging leadership.   We are #MROProud to have participated in this important event and look forward to more opportunities to guide and inspire the future leaders of our industry.

Earlier this week, Marathon Oil employees #volunteered at the OERB | Oklahoma Energy Resources Board Student Road Safety Day at Lindsay High School in #Oklahoma, where they served lunch to students learning about safety issues like distracted driving, impaired driving, seatbelt safety, ATV safety, accident protocol for first responders and more. Our Unconventional Thinking in Teaching grant program is still accepting applications until May 8! This grant program recognizes innovative educators in the communities where we live and work. At Marathon Oil, unconventional thinking means constantly looking for new ways to solve problems and deliver results. As part of our investment in building stronger communities through education, we’re supporting teachers who are bringing this same unconventional thinking to the classroom. Teachers can apply or be nominated by members of their community to receive a $2,500 grant to support the purchase of classroom resources, such as books, activity/lab materials and technology, or personal professional development.
