“My favorite thing about Medely is just seeing this dream come to fruition, and that facilities now have a way to book someone easily. It’s something we never had at our fingertips,” Angie Nasr, CNO and co-founder of Medely shares. Angie had a long journey from working as an RN looking for a flexible work-life balance to a Director of Nursing quickly learning the ropes, to now being the CNO of Medely, but she never lost sight of who she was serving. The nursing community, and ultimately their patients, were always at the center of her work to create something better. To learn more about Angie’s journey as a nurse, why she started Medely, and how she works every day to create the best workforce management platform available, check out our latest interview with Angie:

Nurses Week is a great opportunity to show nurses some extra appreciation for their hard work and dedication, but it’s important that nurses are feeling appreciated throughout the entire year. With burnout and exhaustion on the rise, taking more time to say thank you and show appreciation for nurses is crucial for retaining nurses and maintaining a strong team. Medely conducted the Nurses Sentiment Survey of nearly 750 nurses nationwide with the goal of understanding what nurses most value at work in order to provide healthcare leaders with the information they need to show appreciation to their staff and lower burnout, exhaustion, and churn rates and improve their nurse retention strategies. For the full survey results, check out our latest blog post!
