2024 had many firsts for Michael Byrne Manufacturing including the use of an Allison Transmission in the drive train for our 72" Auger Bore Machine. The Allison Transmission has had great response from the contractors that have used this versatile technology. Here is a brief video of the Allison transmission machine boring 455 feet under I-95 in Virginia in June 2024. Rising Sun Inc completed the job nailing the exit within 2".
