We have a new waiting family to share! Hello! We’re Brent and Mindy. We’ve been married for nearly six years and are proud parents to our sweet daughter, Josie, who came into our lives through adoption in 2023. We’re so honored to share a little about ourselves and are excited to welcome another baby into our home! Mindy grew up in Mississippi and worked as a registered nurse before transitioning to being a stay-at-home mom—a role she’s embraced wholeheartedly as she gets to be there for all of Josie’s precious milestones. Brent was raised in the Houston area and works in finance. As a family, we enjoy local activities like going to the farmer’s market, playing with our pups, going to the playground, or eating at our favorite restaurants. We love hosting friends and family in our home for dinners, watching sports, and having game nights. Our faith in God is the foundation of our lives, and we believe that adoption is a beautiful reflection of His love and grace. We are so thankful the Lord led us down the path of adoption a few years ago after having infertility struggles, because adoption has been the biggest blessing in our lives. We are forever grateful for the relationship we have with Josie’s birth family. We feel that God is telling us “it’s time” to expand our family again through adoption, and we are so ready to watch His plan unfold and also watch Josie become a big sister! We trust in God’s perfect timing and plan, and we are humbled by the opportunity to share in this part of your story. We are praying for you and your baby, and we deeply admire your strength, courage, and the love you’re showing in considering this path for your child.
