Happy Halloween! Our teams are enjoying costumes, treats, and a bit of friendly competition. Here’s a peek at some of the festivities: 🎃 Our PCI San Diego branches joined forces to host a Family Dinner and Fall Festival for Monarch School with 34 volunteers dressing up as superheroes and villains to bring a fun-filled evening of games, delicious food, and community. 🎃 PCI Portland enjoyed a lively costume party alongside a spooky smorgasbord, bringing out the Halloween vibes. 🎃 PCI Kansas City brought out the creativity with a pumpkin carving contest and a spooky-themed party. 🎃 PCI Corporate held a department decorating contest and a trick-or-treat parade for the kids, spreading festive cheer across the office. 🎃 PCI Bay Area submitted an entry in its property manager’s annual pumpkin carving contest and enjoyed some costume fun. 🎃 PCI Albany got in the spirit with colorful, creative, and goofy costumes. PCI branches have been active this fall with some fantastic events across the board! PCI Dallas gave back with a volunteer afternoon at the HIM Food Bank in Mansfield, TX. Our team assembled sandwiches for high schoolers and packed nutritious family-sized meals—making a real difference in the community. A huge thank you to HIM Food Bank for the opportunity! 🥪❤️ The Corporate office hosted its annual Fun Day with a visit to the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium. Employees enjoyed face painting, animal encounters, and time together for a memorable day of fun and connection. 🐘🐠 PCI Kansas City has been hosting job walks at Project Kansas, where small teams toured the site to gain firsthand insight into daily operations. A new group of Project Engineers participated in PE Bootcamp this week, where they built critical communication skills and explored the importance of relationship-building with their teams, owners, vendors, and others. Each team created their own company and put together a pitch for a bridge-building and presentation challenge. The teams had to construct bridges out of glue and popsicle sticks while managing safety, features, and change orders. After the presentations, the bridges were tested with added weight until they gave out. Congratulations to Truss-Worthy Construction for taking home the overall win.Shoutout to Puddle Jumpers, whose bridge held an impressive 105 pounds! This #ThrowbackThursday, we’re looking back to October 2020 when PCI Cincinnati completed the Madison Square project, the team's largest single contract and Cincinnati's largest completed project to date. Partnering with Skanska we provided a full range of services, including Exterior Framing, Sheathing, Air Barrier, Interior Framing, Insulation, Drywall, and Acoustical Ceilings & Panels. The project features a seven-story office building, street-level retail, and a dynamic public plaza with event spaces and restaurants. Madison Square also connects the Medpace campus with surrounding developments, supporting the area’s continued growth and revitalization.
