Pine Street's Consumer Engagement Coordinator Delphia Bizzell attended this year’s National Alliance to End Homelessness conference. The event brings together service providers, advocates and others to share and discuss their findings. "As a person who has experienced homelessness, I found it an honor to be part of this event," says Delphia.

With temperatures in the 90’s expected for much of the week, the heat is a danger for people living on the streets. Pine Street’s outreach teams will check on those outside, bringing water, sunscreen and bug spray. Air-conditioned shelters will be open around the clock for people to cool off. If you see someone in distress or showing signs of heat stroke, call 911. For more information, visit: https://ow.ly/H54X50Sxb2f
