  • Quantinuum unveils the world’s first Generative Quantum AI (Gen QAI) system. We bring acuity and performance to what will be the next generation of AI to enable and fulfill its potential faster. Quantinuum’s Gen QAI operates just like a classical Gen AI system. However, as we know, any AI trained on classical data alone will never be able to unlock the universe’s best-kept secrets, which are quantum in nature. Many of the universe’s most complex phenomena—like superconductivity and pharmaceutical chemistry—are governed by quantum mechanics. Gen QAI unlocks these secrets by harnessing quantum-generated data, opening doors to insights and solutions that classical systems simply cannot access. With the highest-performing quantum processor in the world, Quantinuum’s H2, we have the opportunity to train AI with data that only a quantum computer can produce - providing access to information that classical systems cannot reach or simulate. We’re just getting started. Over the coming months, we are preparing to launch Helios—a quantum leap forward, one trillion times more powerful than H2. Helios will redefine AI’s potential and empower our partners to solve challenges once thought impossible.   More details here: https://lnkd.in/edSxiYCm

  • We’re slashing the timeline to commercial quantum computing by diving deep into the fundamentals: in this case circuit depth, which is essentially the number of operations needed to complete an algorithm. A computer’s error rate determines how “deep” your circuits can go. For example, an error rate of 1/1000 means you can run circuits up to 1000 operations deep before error creeps in. We’re focusing on optimizing common subroutines—the building blocks of many industrial algorithms. By making these more efficient, we can make once-impossible circuits possible. Our latest breakthrough? A major upgrade in how we implement a widely used subroutine called “the scalar product,” which spans applications from materials simulation to AI. We’ve developed a new method that slashes circuit depth and dramatically reduces resource requirements, bringing real-world quantum applications closer than ever. Today, Palo Alto Networks (“PAN”) announced the release of a cybersecurity initiative strengthening enterprise security through quantum-derived randomness.     The release of PAN’s API for quantum random number generators (QRNGs) establishes a new standard for cryptographic entropy, and the cybersecurity team at Quantinuum is thrilled to have been a key contributor.    This open API presents a new solution for #QRNG interoperability, enhancing cybersecurity infrastructure for companies across the globe.    Palo Alto – a global leader – embracing quantum technology with the publication of the QRNG Open API is one of the clearest signals so far that quantum-powered security is gaining momentum.    By working with Palo Alto, alongside industry peers, we at Quantinuum are helping empower organizations to build resilience against advanced cyber threats. We look forward to seeing how businesses adopt this new API to strengthen their security frameworks.    You can find the new API on GitHub: https://lnkd.in/ewVjrn-i   Learn more about proven quantum randomness from our Quantum Origin QRNG: https://lnkd.in/gKcjcUmX
