We are very pleased to announce that, following public consultation, examination and a recommendation for approval by the Planning Inspectorate, the Secretary of State for the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero in the #UK, has granted us the Development Consent Order (DCO) for the Mallard Pass Solar Farm. This 350MWp solar project is part of Recurrent Energy's multi GW solar and BESS UK pipeline under development in partnership with Windel Energy. ✅ This consent marks an important milestone for both Recurrent Energy and the UK, marking a significant step in the country's journey towards building a more robust and reliable renewable energy supply. We are pleased to announce that Recurrent Energy has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with GKN Automotive, the global leader in drive systems. This marks the automotive supplier’s first #PPA in Europe, representing a significant milestone in their strategy to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2045 ✅.   Under this PPA, Recurrent Energy will supply clean, renewable energy through its 115 MWp Rey I project, supporting GKN Automotive’s growing energy needs in the region. We thank GKN Automotive for their trust and we are excited about the environmental and operational benefits this agreement will bring. Our North Fork Solar Project – the largest #solar project in #Oklahoma– is now producing power!    North Fork is also the largest operating solar project in Southwest Power Pool’s 14-state footprint!    And, North Fork Solar marks our first production tax credit transaction and first tax credit transfer transaction. We signed the facilitation with Bank of America.   Yesterday we joined project landowners, OMPA, Blattner, Southwest Power Pool and local elected officials to celebrate the 160 MW project which is now producing enough power annually for about 35,000 homes!    As one official said, “This is a big deal and in Oklahoma we like big deals!”   Thank you to all of our project partners for your dedication to this project and for being there to celebrate with us.   More here: https://lnkd.in/gyQ5ApgC

This month alone, we’ve inaugurated 738 MW of solar projects in #Brazil.    This week we joined elected officials and leaders from SPIC Brasil to inaugurate our Panati solar project.   With an installed capacity of 292 MWp, Panati will provide enough #energy for 350,000 homes annually, contributing to Brazil’s clean energy goals. ☀️   As Gustavo Dos Reis Vajda, General Manager of Recurrent Energy in LATAM, said, “This inauguration is a testament to our dedication to building a sustainable energy future in the region.”

Today we are announcing that we have secured $513 million in project financing for our landmark Papago Storage project located in Maricopa County, #Arizona.    Arizona is one of the fastest growing markets for energy storage in the United States, bolstered by the state’s growing economy and low-cost renewable energy resources.
