CET has set an ambitious goal for 2020 through 2022 to help 115,000 people and businesses: Reduce carbon emissions equal to removing 100,000 cars off the road for a year; Keep 120,000 tons of waste out of landfills; Save energy equal to powering 35,000 homes for a year; Create $75,000,000 in lifetime savings And we’ll move the needle through innovative pilot efforts: Local carbon reduction projects; Deeper retrofits/strategic electrification; Peak load reduction; Deconstruction; And more!

In Massachusetts, small businesses represent 97 percent of commercial and industrial energy customers and 40 percent of energy use in the state. It's also a known fact that decarbonizing commercial and residential buildings is critical to meeting our climate goals - they contribute to 30% of U.S. greenhouse gas emissions. CET offers no-cost assessments to take the confusion out of climate action for our customers.
