Here's a look inside the creative process for the Seattle City Flag products.
Product innovation in action ✨ Excited to share a glimpse into my creative process with you all! As I walked Seattle I observed people wearing NY Yankee and LA Dodgers hats. These caps embody more than just baseball teams, they embody the culture of the cities they represent. This inspired me to create a contemporary Seattle City Flag cap - the Glacier Cap, influenced by Mount Rainier/Tahoma. 🗻 The initial iteration in 2022 marked a promising start, but came with its limitations - a slightly small logo, thin wave puff, and quality concerns. After insightful monthly outreach this past summer, I discovered Seattleites loved the corduroy style from my Emerald City caps, leading me to diversify colors and partner with a top-notch manufacturer. The outcome? An enhanced Glacier Cap on the right - with a striking logo, improved style, quality, and cost-efficiency - the new hats cost less per unit because I have access to wholesalers now. This journey reminded me the value of persistence and continuous refinement. Remember, progress takes time; keep honing your ideas and never cease learning. 🗻 #SeattleCityFlag #SeattleFlag #Seattle #UrbanDesign #CitiesOfTheFuture #Innovation
