Trust is at the core of all the work we do with our plan partners. One of the ways we earn that trust is by our commitment to the highest levels of information security and privacy protection. We are excited to share that Siftwell attained the HITRUST e1 certification, as assessed and validated by a third party auditor. As we continue to build new solutions for our plan partners, we will continue our commitment to implementing the highest standards in protecting the information entrusted to us, all with the goal of improving the lives of the members we serve.   A heartfelt thank you to our team for their unwavering commitment to excellence in care and security and to our partners for their continued trust in us as we work together to achieve their goals. 👏

With eight years in B2B tech and startup experience, Connor brings a strong track record of building healthcare software solutions that drive real ROI. Previously, he co-founded Vigilant Technologies alongside our own Andy Chan, developing wearable tech for deskless workers. After its acquisition by Sword Health, he played a key role in integrating their tech into the U.S. healthcare system. Now, the band is back together and ready to achieve even more. When he's not solving engineering challenges, you'll find him on a pickleball court in northeastern PA. 🏓 Welcome to the team, Connor! [Read more here 👉 https://lnkd.in/e_dZNTG4]

It's not just about "more data" or merely transmitting data. The real power of AI, when thoughtfully applied, is making "big data" feel like small data—turning vast, complex datasets encompassing clinical, health-related social needs, and more into clear, meaningful patterns that enhance understanding of an individual’s context for those who navigate and care for them. Siftwell is proud to support our plan partners in this transformative work, playing a vital role in making these advancements a reality. 🚀 #communityhealth #managedcare #outcomes #memberhealth #hrsn #healthcare #healthtech

Helping community organizations improve community health

Just back from the California Association of Health Plans' CalAIM Seminar in Burbank this week and what's stuck with me is the underlying theme within comments made by Dennis Hsieh and Manisha Sharma, MD, FAAFP and others. CalAIM's intent to create a more coordinated, person-centered, and equitable health system that works for all Californians. To get there what has to happen is frontline COLLABORATION. ⇨ Clinics and CBOs should keep pushing MCOs to provide educational and technical support so they can succeed financially and operationally. ⇨ MCOs should be pushing clinics and CBOs to provide the whole-person clinical lens so they can succeed clinically. The early progress is encouraging-- let's keep spreading the word. 🤝 #communityhealth #calaim #medicaid Siftwell

I landed back in California last night… It feels like I was just here for Tau Ventures day, and haven’t yet gotten a chance to thank them. Soooo… THANK YOU, Amit Garg, Sanjay Rao, and the rest of the Tau Ventures Team. The day kicked off with a keynote from Microsoft’s Global Chief Medical Officer, David Rhew, M.D.. Two panels on enterprise solutions and #healthcare #AI followed. Link 👇 It was incredible to hear the stories and network with so many inspiring and successful founders. And, of course, it truly (truly) was an honor and a bit surreal to be on an #AI panel at SRI PARC – birthplace of the ethernet, the GUI, and so many other technologies that are now ubiquitous. Kind of like how AI is and will be in healthcare (Warning: Shameless Plug Inbound). If you have questions about how to use AI at your organization, call 1-800-Send-Me-An-Email-or-Message-Me. Below are all the folks that were on panels and a link to video of the presentation portion of the day. 1) Andrew Ninh, CuraFi 2) Andy Mewborn, Distribute 3) Belsasar Lepe, Cerby 4) Christopher Olmanson, Beaming Health 5) Christina Lopes, FidoCure® 6) Ian Coe, Tonic.ai 7) Munish Gandhi, Statisfy 8) Renee Dua, Together by Renee 9) Sharam Fouladgar-Mercer and, 10) Me, Siftwell Thanks again Tau Ventures. https://lnkd.in/evq6HDkC

A recent article from Healthnews highlights a significant issue in women's healthcare: 26% of female respondents in the Siftwell Health Equity Index report feel their symptoms are not taken seriously by healthcare providers. This fear of not being believed leads many women to delay seeking medical attention, risking their health. 🤰 Over half (51%) of Medicaid-eligible participants in our recent New England Health Equity Index believe that the quality of pregnancy care and support is influenced by race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or income. The findings reveal that many New England mothers see income and race as the biggest factors affecting the quality of maternal care. In the United States, Black women and low-income mothers face a higher risk of pregnancy-related complications. To prevent serious complications and maternal mortality, it’s crucial to recognize urgent maternal warning signs, provide proactive, high-quality care, and ensure timely treatment.
