Plenty of summertime activities will keep us away from a restroom for hours: road trips, movies at the theater, hikes, boat rides, etc. So we should always use the bathroom beforehand, just in case—right? Actually, not necessarily. In this video, one of Bloom’s Pelvic Health Specialists, Dr. Liz, explains why the “just-in-case pee” can actually be bad for your bladder health. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁: Did you know the average pelvic health procedure costs $20K, and most people who suffer don't even know these procedures can be avoided?  Predict—our proprietary AI engine built to predict and prevent unnecessary procedures and related costs—has expanded beyond traditional MSK to also address pelvic health conditions. Now, Predict can see them coming more than six months before they occur, helping members get the treatment they need to avoid invasive interventions, while driving down wasteful medical spending for clients. Being a full-time mom is physically demanding—so is being a professional opera singer! Sword Move keeps Kaitlyn’s upper body strong, warmed up and ready for both! "I'm from Katy, TX. I'm a full-time mom to a crazy 3 three old and a professional opera singer and voice teacher. Sword Move has been so easy to incorporate into my very busy schedule. Morgan, my trainer, has been so good at adjusting my sessions to fit each specific week’s needs and goals. Recently, I did an opera that required a lot of waiting around and then intense arm/shoulder strength and Morgan sent me personalized exercises to keep my body warm during downtime and keep my upper body strong. She is always so quick to adjust the program if I have specific requests!" Learn more about Sword Move https://lnkd.in/d8KXCiT4

Did you know that half of back and joint conditions are attributed to a lack of physical activity?     Physical exercise is a great way to prevent and alleviate MSK pain—and it has enormous mental health benefits, too. A recent study showed that just 20 minutes a day, 5 days a week, of moderate exercise reduced the rate of major depression by 43% compared to people who didn’t exercise at all.     So, let us help get your team moving this summer!   Learn more about Sword Move https://lnkd.in/d8KXCiT4
