We had an incredible experience with Rebuilding Together Peninsula to transform The Riekes Center in Menlo Park! This vital community hub supports K-12 students, veterans, seniors, and individuals with disabilities, making a real difference in their lives.     Our dedicated volunteers rolled up their sleeves to revitalize the outdoor space, demolish the old kitchen, and install fresh flooring, cabinets, and countertops. Inspiring the next generation of builders! We had the privilege of hosting 15 students from the Santa Cruz County Office of Education's Building Trades Pre-Apprenticeship Program for a jobsite tour at our UCSC Kresge site. Participants witnessed firsthand the ins and outs of construction, from wood framing and concrete work to underground plumbing and steel welding. It was a great opportunity to introduce them to various trades and hear from our site leaders.
