At HII we believe in investing in early childhood education, right alongside our employees and their families.   The HII Scholarship Fund provides financial support to lay the foundation for future learning and skillbuilding by the children of our employees. Brielle Mills received a scholarship for the 2024-25 school year and she drew this excellent picture of me.   Brielle, I am having a great day! Thank you. You and all kids deserve futures as bright as the sun shining on me in this picture.   Applications for the 2025-26 HII Scholarship Fund are now open. If you’re an HII employee, please visit HII.com/scholarship to learn more and submit your application by Tuesday, April. 15.

“This contract represents a significant milestone in building a resilient and globally integrated supply chain for nuclear-powered submarines,” said Chris Kastner, president and CEO of HII. “HII has a long history of working with suppliers to ensure they meet the highest standards in safety, security, and performance. We welcome Australian partners to help build out this critical nuclear shipbuilding capability and ensure the long-term success of AUKUS.” HII is pleased to announce we've been awarded a contract to deliver the new Australian Submarine Supplier Qualification (AUSSQ) pilot program over the next two years to accelerate the identification and qualification of Australian suppliers and products into the United States submarine industrial base. The contract’s initial value is $9.6 million (AUD) with the option to extend based on achievement. The pilot program will support the development of a sovereign robust, internationally integrated supply chain, accelerating Australian industry’s critical contribution to the success of the AUKUS trilateral security partnership between Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Investing in the future of cleanup at #WMSYM2025! HII Mission Technologies, in collaboration with our joint venture partner, Newport News Nuclear BWXT-Los Alamos, LLC (N3B), recognized outstanding STEM scholars with a Memorial Scholarship during Waste Management 2025 in Phoenix. Our ships are built in America, for America, but our mission to deliver the world's most powerful ships and all-domain solutions in service of the nation helps Americans all over the globe.🌏 Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (#DDG105), built by Ingalls Shipbuilding, a Division of HII, sails alongside the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Asahi-class destroyer JS Asahi (DD-119) during bilateral operations in the Philippine Sea on February 10. DDG 105 is forward-deployed and assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the US Navy’s largest DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force. Our shipbuilders work tirelessly to build and deliver these highly capable, multi-mission ships, and we're proud to enable global safety and support with our allies in Japan. 📸: U.S. Navy / MC1 Monroe
