I always have fun visiting prospective and current nonprofit partners across CA, but this was an especially positive week in Fresno. Thankful for: Kevin Williams – for hosting me at United Way Fresno and Madera Counties for nearly 2 hours of deep-dive conversation! Cynthia Burton – for giving me a tour of Comprehensive Youth Services and providing much-needed Fresno food recommendations Jeff Negrete – for joining me on a fun trip up to Stanislaus to visit Turlock Gospel Mission while brainstorming ways that Pair Team can support Catholic Charities Diocese of Fresno Christian Curby – for hosting Jeff and I to explore the Turlock Gospel Mission facilities and discuss what it’s like to be a CBO partner with Pair Team Looking forward to more connections and adventures next time I do a week on the road. Last month we had the pleasure of gathering all of our PairMates in sunny San Diego, CA for our first company retreat. In a fully remote environment, it can be challenging to establish connections with colleagues, so we like to find time together to build our strength as a team. We also have achieved a lot together so far this year and had a lot to celebrate. We laughed... we cried (from laughter)... overall, it was a great time. Our gatherings together are a gentle reminder of what we are capable of achieving when we work together. We can't wait for the next one! 😎
