Environmental Graphic Design projects allow our Brand + Form teams to come together and showcase their unique talents. We enjoyed collaborating on the signage and wayfinding designs for our friends at Hunter Pasteur for the Perennial Corktown development.

Perennial Corktown Apartments / Tailored for contemporary urban living and community walkability, the design aimed to provide high-end living spaces and exclusive on-site facilities.   The apartment development brings a market and restaurant to the first floor along with a welcoming lobby. Second-floor amenities create a warm, homelike atmosphere including private living rooms, chef's kitchen, and dining spaces. Residents can enjoy a pool deck, outdoor lounge, fitness center, and dedicated work-from-home spaces.   Neumann/Smith team members include Patrick Barry, Sura Daood, Junho Kim, Dawn Peterson, Mike Baer, Mark Westphal, Sara Sarkisian Bell, Ernesto Whitsitt, and Joel Smith.   In collaboration with Elkus Manfredi Architects, The Christman Company/ Norcon, Inc., Hunter Pasteur , IMEG, Giffels Webster, Resurget Engineering PC, and our project team. #neumannsmith #architecture #AOR #detroit #corktown #mixeduse #multifamily #community photos by John D'Angelo

Sponsor an Architect in the Making! About Architects in the Making Architects In the Making (AIM) is AIA Miami’s youth educational program supported by local volunteer leading architects. Since 2006, AIM helped inspire and shape the next generation of architects and designers. Hosted at the University of Miami School of Architecture, AIM provides a hands-on summer camp for 8 – 16 year old’s. Kids get to interact with architects, learn about the fundamentals of design, have fun building projects, and model them in software like SketchUp and Minecraft! Support Future Architects Our students rely on the generous contributions of partners and sponsors in order to cover the cost of materials and instruction. Being a part of AIA Miami, our sponsors get tangible benefits by supporting our students! This program would not be possible without the generous support of local firms like MC Harry Associates, Ramos Martinez Architects, and Hinkle Design Studio. Sponsors benefit from exposure to our vast community of partners, supporters, and students. Want to support future Architects In the Making? Please complete the AIM Sponsorship Form below, and submit it to Marilyn Lugo at marilyn@aiamiami.org. Form Link: https://bit.ly/48Javya

We are proud to support our local NOMA Detroit chapter by sponsoring a student to attend their annual youth architecture summer camp. Project Pipeline is a nationwide initiative, serving a diverse population of students, all of whom are underrepresented in architecture and adjacent professions. Using the built environment as a classroom, Project Pipeline challenges youth to grasp the significance of architecture in their daily lives, as well as the broader cultural, social, and historical implications. By connecting young people to real-world architects, planners, and other design professionals, the goal is to foster the next generation in preparation for college and a life of service. Students are given the skills and tools to be advocates of change through design, and contribute to their communities critically and constructively. Nation-wide, Project Pipeline has served over 10,000 students and counting. Together, we're building a brighter, more inclusive future!" #ProjectPipelineDetroit24

Addressing the nationwide reality that homeownership rates among Gen Z and Millennials are historically low, the team at Nido approached us with a mission to launch a platform that would help renters save for a down payment, one rent payment at a time. From this brief, Zoyes created a go-to-market tool box for Nido—complete with a new name, logo, kinetic brand identity, and a sleek, intuitive digital experience. Nido, which means nest, is bold, memorable, and perfectly suited for the app environment. Central to the brand identity is the confident and dynamic “N” logomark. This mark is paired with an inviting sans-serif typeface, vibrant gradients, and interlocking shapes that convey a sense of financial empowerment and trust. Complemented by a pattern and a color palette that embodies wealth and growth, Nido's new brand lies at the intersection of simplified education and approachable expertise. We are giving great thanks and recognition to our Form Team Director, Rich Rozeboom, as we are proud to celebrate his 20 year anniversary with our firm. We first met Rich as a graduate of Lawrence Tech College of Architecture and Design. With a passion for architectural illustration and model making, he has grown with our company over the years. As Form Team Director, his dedication, creativity and leadership have been instrumental in our collective achievements. We are beyond grateful. Cheers to 20 years, and many more amazing years ahead!

On this 4th of July, we’re throwing it back to our work on American Apple, the first Imperial cider offering from Michigan-based beverage giant Blake's Hard Cider Co. Back in the Fall 2022, we helped Blake’s bring American Apple to market by developing its brand identity, designing its packaging system, and crafting a narrative highlighting the drink’s distinctly American heritage. Centered around the custom script logo and a classic color palette, the brand leans into this friendly, authentic character – positioning American Apple as the perfect drink for a backyard barbecue, a Sunday tailgate, or a night out with friends. To all, enjoy the holiday & please drink responsibly! #tbt #branding #brandidentity #packagingdesign #zoyescreative 📸 : Jason Ryan

We’ve been eager to share about our involvement with this project, as many of you visited & celebrated the opening of Little Village earlier this year in May. With over 3.5 acres of green space, parks, and elegant spaces to work, play and create, Little Village set out to create a communal hub for artists, accessible to all. Working with a freshly designed brand identity from @Audetorium, Zoyes crafted a digital experience that would serve as both an educational platform and an engaging introduction to the neighborhood.   By showcasing public spaces and their offerings - such as The Shepherd, a one hundred year-old church, transformed into a cultural arts center - the website was designed to underscore the connected nature of the community’s initiatives.
