    o Review financial data to enable future opportunities
    o Discuss and explore various marketing techniques ranging from technological to physical to insure that quality camping programming opportunities are offered to an appropriate audience
    • Attend GNYC Camping Committee meetings and inform members of the plans, progress and concerns of the Pouch Scout Camp team
    • Through coordination with the Director of William H. Pouch Scout Camp, recruit chairmen for the following sub-committees and assist in recruiting members for these committees. Serve as defacto chair for the committees if the chair is vacant:
    o Camp Facilities & Infrastructure Committee
    o Campmaster Corps
    o Alumni Relations Committee
    o Program & Marketing Committee
    • Promote Council initiatives throughout Pouch Camp
    • As a member of the Council Camping Committee: assist with organizing city-wide camping promotional:
    o Events, including the annual Camping Expo and Steak Out.
    o Training events, including the annual Camp Promotions Orientation and TrEX
    o Recognition events, including the annual Camp Promotions Recognition Banquet and Camping Hall of Fame
    • Give guidance on health and safety concerns as needed
    • Working with the Director of William H. Pouch Scout Camp, ensure that programs provided at William H. Pouch Scout Camp are high quality and staffed appropriately.
    • Work with the Director of William H. Pouch Scout Camp to make budget recommendations for spending priorities in program and maintenance.

  • Event Chair for the Annual Scouting Program Launch

    The Program Launch is an annual Scouting program kickoff event, where Scout leaders can obtain a multitude of information and program ideas to take back to their Packs, Troops and Crews.

    In my capacity as Event Director, my team and provide the adult scouting community with hands-on demonstrations, a large vendor midway, an array of breakout sessions and a lunchtime networking event which will help to enable Scouters to plan activities throughout the Scouting year.
