Condition Survey has been carried out by Turkish Marine Survey in Icdas Port, Canakkale on a Bulk Carrier, the length of 229 meters with a carriage capacity of 80.300 dwt ⚓

Wide subsurface fracture observed using well camera at shallow depth(167.77m) of water well drilled in Addis around Safera area near to the bridge. As a result it faces a challenge like loss of circulation, the well take much gravel ..... finally the well is flowing (artesian) well.

https://lnkd.in/e23gHsjN This technology was introduced to Ethiopia for the first time by #International Development Enterprises(IDE). It was brought either from India or Nepal, am not sure. It is called a sanction-only treadle pump. It is a very good technology to lift underground water. The technology is feasible in areas where underground water is accessible at shallow depths <= 6 meters. A feasibility study conducted by IDE highlighted that there are several areas suitable for the installation of sanction-only treadle pumps in Oromia.

#Tunneling | Do you know what segments are and what's their function inside the Mont Cenis base tunnel? Segments are made of concrete and used for lining the tunnels excavated with TBM. For the cross-border section of the new #LyonTurin railway line, they are produced in special sites using aggregates obtained from the excavation of the tunnel. Interesting Technology. Can be used to quickly build barriers against sea expansion. It can also be used to expand the GAZA strip - double or triple it - to contain the exploding increase in numbers of Gazans. So far, the number of victims that were killed (about 26000) equals the number of newborns in Gaza. And the cost might be less than 1% of the cost of all wars in that region. The cost of the ongoing war is about 300 billion USD.
