#Hamburg: Edge Hafencity goes to PIMCO: PIMCO Prime Real Estate secures a 22,500 square meter #office #building in Hamburg's Hafencity from project developer EDGE. The real estate investor Pimco Prime Real Estate has taken over the "Edge Hafencity" project in Hamburg. The #property, designed by Henn Architects, comprises around 22,500 square meters of office space. With a focus on #sustainability and the well-being of the tenants, the building has already been pre-certified with the WELL Core in platinum and awarded the Hafencity Ecolabel in platinum. Together with the "Edge Elbside", the building forms the gateway to the Elbbrückenviertel. Current tenants include the law firm Fieldfisher, Fieldfisher X, the #environmental company Veolia and EDGE Workspaces. "'Edge Hafencity' meets a clear need for prime office properties in the attractive Elbbrückenviertel and is a very good addition to our #German portfolio," says Nicole Pötsch of Pimco. "The project supports Pimco Prime Real Estate's focus on developing outstanding, #sustainable buildings that create long-term value for our institutional #investors as well as tenants, local communities and other key stakeholders."
