On the Feast of the Ascension, we remember the event which inspired our name. Mindful of Jesus’ commissioning of the disciples, we humbly accept the call to continue His loving ministry on Earth as did our courageous Founders before us. May reverence, wisdom and creativity guide our steps.

Today’s Good News 🙏🏽🙌🏽💃🏽 As we embark on a new day, let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, as Hebrews 12:1-2 encourages us. In the race of life, we may encounter obstacles, uncertainties, and fears that threaten to overwhelm us. However, by keeping our focus on Jesus, we can find the strength and courage to overcome every challenge that comes our way. Let us cast aside the weight of fear and doubt that hinders us and run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Our faith serves as a powerful antidote to fear, empowering us to rise above our circumstances and press on toward the prize set before us. When we choose to trust in God's promises and rely on His unfailing love, we discover a peace that surpasses all understanding. Instead of allowing fear to dictate our actions, let us hold fast to our faith in God's faithfulness, knowing that He is always with us, guiding us through the valleys and leading us to triumph. Today, may we be reminded that our faith has the power to conquer fear. As we fix our eyes on Jesus and entrust our lives into His hands, let us embrace each new day with boldness and confidence. Let us walk in the assurance that nothing can separate us from the love of God and that He who began a good work in us will carry it on to completion. -REVCCC #ActLikeYouKnow #GoodNews

In our journey toward achieving our goals, the wisdom of taking smaller steps cannot be overstated. Consider the words of Zechariah 4:10, “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin…” This reminds us that every grand achievement starts with a single, often small, step. It’s in these humble beginnings that we find the Lord’s joy and presence, encouraging us to press forward. Similarly, in the parable of the mustard seed (Matthew 13:31-32), Jesus illustrates how the kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, the smallest of all seeds, which when planted, grows into the largest of garden plants. This is the power of starting small and the potential for exponential growth that lies within even the tiniest of beginnings. Taking smaller steps allows us to celebrate incremental victories, maintain momentum, and adjust our course as needed, ensuring that we are continuously aligned with God’s will. Being faithful in the little things, trusting that God will entrust us with more as we prove our dedication and stewardship.

WHAT DOES LIFE IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD LOOK LIKE? Ever wonder what does it look like to live in the Kingdom of God? What does it look like to be a citizen of the Kingdom of God? Those are great questions. Here’s something I’ve found instructive regarding answering these questions. Read the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew chapters 5 to 7). Read Luke 6:20-49. After reading these ask yourself … “Is living like this exciting to me? Does it stress me to think about living like this? Or am I neutral about living like this - I could take it or leave it?” These give us an idea of what living in the Kingdom of God on this earth looks like. These passages give us a picture of what it looks to be a disciple of Jesus. If the possibility of living your life like this isn’t a must have for you … perhaps you should do a self-evaluation of where you stand with Jesus. Jesus did say that having the Kingdom of God should be more valuable to you than anything else that exist or you do. That you should be willing to give up everything you have and want to accomplish to acquire the Kingdom of God in your life. (Mt 13:44-46, Lk 9:23-27, Lk 14:25-33) Brad Taylor #purpose #leadership #disciple #jesus

"Overcoming Temptation: Seeking Strength through Biblical Precedents and Principles" Temptation, a recurring theme in the Scriptures, poses a formidable challenge that, if yielded to, may lead to transgression. As articulated in 1 Corinthians 10:13, God's unwavering faithfulness ensures that temptations are limited to what we can withstand, providing a pathway to perseverance. Reflecting on Jesus' resolute triumph over temptation in the wilderness (Matthew 4:1-11) while studying the Word offers a guiding light. By grounding ourselves in the Word of God and relying on His strength, we can strive to follow His example in overcoming temptations. This journey emphasizes the significance of prayer, mutual accountability, and purposeful avoidance of situations that breed temptation, ensuring spiritual fortitude when confronted with such challenges. @followers @highlight Apostle Charles F Dashiell

Mark 9:23 highlights the importance of unwavering faith in God's abilities & promises. For Christians, it serves as a reminder to approach each day with trust & confidence in God, knowing that with faith, even the seemingly impossible can be achieved. In our daily walk, we should lean on this verse as a source of encouragement, believing that God is able to guide us through challenges, provide strength in times of weakness, & fulfill His purposes in our lives. It encourages us to live with a mindset of Faith rather than fear! God is capable of accomplishing far beyond what we can ever imagine. Pastor Michael Rodriguez The Wellspring of Life Fellowship
