Chitale Bandhu's Master Blaster Move: Mini Bakarwadi Takes on the Snack Market #PUNEPANDA #AAJKUCHTOOFANIFOODI A Game-Changer in the ₹20 Snack Segment Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale has made a significant move in the snack market with the launch of their Mini Bakarwadi pack, priced at just ₹20. This strategic move, endorsed by the Master Blaster himself, Sachin Tendulkar, is poised to disrupt the existing landscape of the ₹20 snack segment. A Direct Challenge to Established Brands This Mini Bakarwadi pack directly challenges established snack brands like Haldiram's, Balaji Wafers, Bhikaji, and other local and national players. While Haldiram's already offers a mini Bakarwadi pack, this new offering from Chitale Bandhu, with the added star power of Sachin Tendulkar, presents a strong competitor. Balaji Wafers, primarily known for potato chips, does not currently have a similar offering. Product Details Product Chitale Bandhu Mini Bakarwadi Price ₹20 Weight 50 grams Manufactured by Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale, Post Ranje, Taluka Bhor, District Pune City Packing Material Manufactured by Veedee Enterprises, Umbergaon, Valsad, Gujarat The Bakarwadi Advantage Chitale Bandhu's Mini Bakarwadi offers a unique advantage: it's a well-established and beloved traditional Indian snack. This gives it a distinct edge over typical potato chips and other namkeen snacks. The ₹20 price point makes it an incredibly attractive option for consumers looking for a quick and tasty snack. Will Bakarwadi Masala Chips Be Next? With Balaji Wafers and Lay's dominating the potato chip market, the question arises: will they respond by introducing their own Bakarwadi-flavored potato chips? This could be a significant development in the snack market, blending traditional and modern flavors. A Winning Combo: Taste and Value The Mini Bakarwadi pack is not just about affordability; it's about delivering a quality snack at a great price. It's the perfect accompaniment for tea or coffee, satisfying those mid-meal cravings. Nutella's new campaign, featuring personalized packaging for each region, is a bold step in innovating with food. However, it raises eyebrows when in Maharashtra, traditional dishes like puran poli are involved. Authenticity and sentiment are deeply rooted in regional cuisines, and brands must tread carefully in this space. Here are key strategies for effective regional marketing: 1.Gauge Local Sentiment: Understand the cultural significance of local dishes. Conduct surveys to grasp community feelings and preferences before launching new combinations. 2. Thorough Research: Dive deep into the culinary landscape of the region. Identify what resonates with the locals and ensure any partnerships or product innovations align with their values. 3. Test Before You Launch: Implement focus groups to test advertising concepts and product pairings. Gathering feedback in a controlled environment can prevent missteps when going live. Brands can truly thrive in regional markets by being sensitive to local tastes and sentiments, ensuring their innovations resonate positively with the community. #Branding #MarketingStrategy #CulturalSensitivity #Innovation #Nutella #RegionalMarketing Video courtesy: Shibani Gharat

Context is the new flavour for Next India. Small Batch's latest campaign 'At the Table' garnered 10K organic views 120+ shares in under 30 hours of launch. All because we tapped squarely into a simple truth: memorable food experiences happen in relatable contexts. We shifted the narrative from 'Here's another gourmet sauce' to 'Here's how your next Friday night soirée becomes unforgettable.' When building a gourmet brand for Next India, setting the stage matters as much as the hero product. The consumer isn't looking for fantasy; no mad hatter tea parties or dining with the Kardashians, they're looking for a better reality. You give them that and metrics follow naturally. #ScaleSauce #SmallBatch #NewCampaign #MarketInsights #AtTheTable #NextIndia Yogi Vashishta | Ruman Agarwal | Amit Dalmia | AmritKaur Bhatia | Raashi Singhi

🌟 IDLI DOSA Supremacy: The Recipe for Success Behind iD Fresh Food (India) Pvt. Ltd. As a half South Indian living away from home, the thought of missing my mom's delicious idlis and dosas was a constant pang. However, thanks to ID, recreating those flavors became a breeze, even in Bengaluru. But How ID has swooned away the market In 2006, ID emerged from humble beginnings in a small unit in Bengaluru. Recognizing the soaring demand for quality idli-dosa batter, the founders embarked on a mission to redefine the market. What set ID apart was its unwavering commitment to transparency and quality, eschewing preservatives and soda in favor of natural ingredients like dal, rice, and fenugreek. Innovating with Integrity: ID's Winning Strategies :- ID's journey to dominance has been fueled by a dedication to three core principles: 1) Consistent Quality: Ensuring a delightful taste experience year-round. 2) Accessibility: Making their products readily available to consumers. 3) Natural Ingredients: Pledging zero preservatives and stabilizers for purity. Elevating the Experience: ID's Innovations Beyond batter, ID has revolutionized the culinary landscape with ingenious creations like squeeze-and-fry vada batter creating holes by itself which was a pain point, ready-to-eat chutneys, butter glue stick to have better toasts. Their commitment to innovation extends even to packaging, with innovations like sealed triangles for parathas to avoid cutting of edges. Building Trust, One Bite at a Time: ID's Marketing Strategy Unlike conventional food brands, ID eschews celebrity endorsements in favor of heartwarming campaigns centered on familial bonds. Their print ads, like the "turn the page" initiative leading to live factory visit link, offer a glimpse into their ethos of trust and transparency. 💼 Setting New Standards: ID's Logistics and Social Initiatives ID's logistical prowess is unmatched, with pre-fermented batter ensuring freshness and flavor on arrival. Moreover, their "trust shops" in Mumbai and charitable endeavors during crises like COVID underscore their commitment to community and trust-building. In a world where authenticity and trust are scarce commodities, ID stands tall as a beacon of quality and innovation. What can be more "Chatpata" than an Indian street food affair? Taking inspiration from the vibrant "Chatpata" vibe of Indian street foods and the delightful blend of sweet and salty spices, Shiju Pappen from Gurugram founded The Chatpata Affair in 2020—just before the COVID-19 pandemic hit. As a passionate food entrepreneur, Shiju is on a mission to elevate Indian street food by spotlighting regional delicacies while ensuring everything remains vegetarian and hygienic. His ambitious vision? To make Indian street foods the "king" of the culinary world, outshining burgers and pizzas! With a menu boasting nearly 200 items at each outlet, The Chatpata Affairs offers a mouthwatering array of choices from breakfast to dinner, including fusion dishes like Chaat, Bhalle Chaat, Papri Chaat, Badam Milk, Rolls, Sandwiches, and Shakes. Originally from a small town in Rajasthan, Shiju moved to Delhi in 1997, where he began his career at Pizza Hut. He shared, “I was earning only Rs. 5000-6000 per month for almost a year straight. It was tough to manage rent, electricity, and food.” After over two decades of experience, including serving as CEO of Southern Fried Chicken, Shiju’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to launch The Chatpata Affairs with an investment of just Rs. 5 lakh and a small, dedicated team. What began with a few menu items has blossomed into a thriving food chain with a presence across 50 locations nationwide, including prominent spots like Church Street in Bangalore, Nanganalur in Chennai, Ambience Mall in Gurgaon, and various universities in Hyderabad. Starting with a modest revenue of around Rs. 2 lakh per month from just two outlets, the venture embraced a franchise model after two years and has since experienced explosive growth. In FY-23, revenue skyrocketed to Rs. 6 crores and is projected to reach Rs. 8 crores in FY-24! The Gurugram-based venture plans to expand to 100 outlets by March 2025 and aims for 500 outlets by 2027, with exciting prospects for growth in the Middle East, Europe, and the US. While Shiju has grand expansion plans, he remains committed to ensuring food quality is always the top priority. As he wisely states, “I believe entrepreneurship is a journey of patience and perseverance. It’s not a lottery ticket to instant wealth or success.” ------------------------------------------ I interviewed Shiju Pappen for Startup Pedia. Looking for media exposure (PR) for your business or brand? I'm just a DM away – Bilal Khan. ------------------------------------------ #Entrepreneurship #IndianStreetFood #BusinessGrowth #Innovation #StartupStory #TheChatpataAffairs

One of the most popular foods in India is #burgers, which are connected to well-known global brands like Burger King and MC Donald's. However, by introducing a real grilled burger, an Indian homegrown company reversed this trend and is now in direct competition with major rivals. Biraja Rout started out with just Rs 20K and set out to introduce real grilled burgers to #Indian consumers. Since then, she has grown her QSR business to be valued at over Rs 100 Crore. Rout, who was working as an IT expert and had recently moved to #Bangalore, was 21 years old when he took his first mouthful of a delicious burger, which completely changed his life. For him, a burger was a whole meal that could satisfy his appetite, not just a snack. But he soon discovered that only international companies, such as KFC and McDonald's, controlled the burger #market and that there was no homegrown Indian brand that was well-known for its burgers. Around this time, he began to have dreams of starting his own network of Biggies Burger restaurants. He left #Infosys to launch his new venture. Biggies Burger was founded with the intention of introducing real grilled burgers to India and developing a domestic QSR brand that appeals to the regional palate. We wanted to provide a distinctive eating experience where patrons could savor delectable burgers that encapsulate the spirit of #India," Raut stated. We started out as a tiny stand in Bangalore's Electronic City, where we honed our grilled burger recipes and built a devoted following of patrons. In order to promote #growth and raise brand awareness, we concentrated on low-cost marketing techniques, word-of-mouth recommendations, and ongoing innovation," Raut stated. Biggies Burger is currently the biggest and most adored domestic burger brand in India, with a revenue of Rs 100 crore in 2023. It all began with an everlasting enthusiasm and resolve to spread its presence across several cities and regions. The next step for Biraja is to expand Biggies Burger to Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities in the hopes of growing the #company to a revenue of Rs 200 crore. Biggies Burger has grown to 130 locations across 28 cities and 14 states because to his undying dedication and perseverance, and it has sold over 50 lakh burgers to date. We used a franchise model, which allowed us to scale quickly without sacrificing #quality control, to further spur our expansion. We took great care to choose franchise partners that were as passionate about providing exceptional dining experiences as we were. By 2024, we want to have 350 stores in our network," Raut declared. www.tycoonstory.com #BirajaRout #BiggiesBurger #Entrepreneur #StartupSuccess #BurgerLover #FoodEntrepreneur #BusinessLeader #Innovation #FoodIndustry #BurgerChain #SuccessStory #Inspiration #YoungEntrepreneur #BusinessMindset #FoodBusiness Biraja Rout Biggies Burger
