🎙️ Must-Listen: Empowering Women through Pelvic Health 🎙️ The episode from FemHealth Insights and Nyoo Health is all about women's health and empowerment. Tune in to this enlightening podcast episode as they discuss the challenges in medicine, the social stigma around pelvic health, and why women must prioritize it as self-care. Pelihealth cannot say enough good things about this panel. #pelvichealth #womenshealth
Founder + CEO of Nyoo Health | Healthcare Executive | Attorney | Professor | Nonprofit Trustee | Founder SABA Leadership Institute
Truly so excited to share this partnership between Nyoo Health and FemHealth Insights. One of the things I've loved most this year is creating the What's Nyoo! series. Each month, we brought together women and experts to have engaging, honest, and educational conversations about women's health. We all learned so much, and TOGETHER, we helped normalize talking about sex, mental health, maternal and reproductive health, menopause, pelvic floors, and more. I'm so grateful to Brittany Barreto, Ph.D. for asking if she could amplify and share some of the content we created on the FemTech Focus podcast. As a result, you, and listeners across the world, can now hear our May episode. It features leading experts in gynecology, urology, sexology, and pelvic floor therapy. They share their expertise on so many things women should know, but don't, about their bodies. Thank you Somi Javaid, MD (HerMD), Dr. Emma Schmidt (Hey Emma), Carine Carmy (Origin) and Rachel Rubin for spending some time with us to make this episode, and, for all you do to educate and deliver much needed care to women every day. I hope you will give this a listen. And, stay tuned for more What's Nyoo! episodes in 2024! Listen here: https://lnkd.in/eEc6Njcd or wherever you listen to podcasts! #womenshealth #healthequity

Please do check out the in-depth piece on the need for improved diagnosis of endometriosis featured in The Mail on Sunday today. https://lnkd.in/equfBMY9 The article highlights the ongoing Serac Healthcare and University of Oxford research which is testing our imaging agent, maraciclatide, as a potential tool for assessing endometriosis. With huge thanks to Dr Tatjana Gibbons from the Nuffield Dept of Women's & Reproductive Health, University of Oxford, investigator on the DETECT study, for setting out the case so clearly as to why there is such an unmet diagnostic need for this extremely painful condition which affects 1 in 10 women of reproductive age. #endometriosis #womenshealth #molecularimaging #diagnosticimaging Krina Zondervan

Covering Exclusive News About the Business Side of Reproductive Medicine and Building the Trade Media Outlet Behind It
💡 Every sponsor should do their features like how Embie Clinic did with Mark Amols, MD and Elizabeth Lee, B.Sc., R.N. 1. Build a product from both the #ivf patient and the #fertilityclinic’s point of view (and lab) 2. Make it good enough until at least a couple people love, not like, it 3. Send those people onto the podcast, without you 4. Let them open up the product (demo, offering, value proposition service) and share what problems it solves for them—not what you like about it 5. Don’t edit out my skepticism. It’s healthy, and impersonal: it’s insanely hard to provide value in the marketplace and I want to see how you’re struggling to do so. — Ravid Israel Josh Gottesman
In a moment that feels both exhilarating and humbling and to be honest a bit terrifying - I relinquished control and let people I deeply admire talk behind my back about Embie Clinic on a widely respected fertility industry podcast. Leading up to the release I questioned the decision - it would have been easier to do the podcast ourselves, self promote and drive the narrative of the conversation to make things look perfect. BUT, I trust that the platform we’ve built - from patient app to now a full clinical operating system - will change the experience for fertility clinics and patients alike. Getting here was anything but straightforward. It demanded some pivoting and immersing ourselves completely into the world of clinic operations, learning every nuance and challenge care teams face while integrating the already profound and deep understanding Embie had of the patient's journey. So what did they say? You’ll have to tune in and listen or watch for yourself. Links in the first comment. Thanks to Inside Reproductive Health Podcast , Griffin Jones , Elizabeth Lee, B.Sc., R.N. and Mark Amols, MD for the insightful conversation. Shout out to the team that makes the vision a reality: Josh Gottesman Dana Averbuch Ari Zellner Moran Zivoni Shirli Di-Castro Shashua Ido Yohanan Gabrielle Heilman

👉 Breaking the Mould: From 'Femtech' to 'DiagnosTech' We've been navigating the landscape of women's health, and can't help but express our frustration at the broad brushstroke term 'Femtech.' It seems to lump everything related to women's health into a single, cutesy category, regardless of the critical distinctions between reproductive health, diagnostic care or menstrual products. Should everything fit into one category, whether it’s medicine or mooncups? At Hertility, we believe it's time to break free from this label and give our mission the specificity it deserves. We are proud to introduce 'DiagnosTech' – a term that encapsulates the core of what we do and emphasises our commitment to diagnostic excellence. 👉 Why 'DiagnosTech'? Hertility is about empowering women through next-generation diagnostics. Our capabilities extend far beyond conventional reproductive health solutions. We leverage predictive algorithms, cutting-edge data analytics, and AI to revolutionise testing, consultations, and aftercare. We are a research lead company whose clinical and scientific team spans over 70 years of experience. We have presented over 30 abstracts at national and international scientific conferences. Our team of experts include clinicians, scientists and statisticians with years of experience in genetics, obstetrics, gynaecology, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis and more. 👉 Key Features of Hertility - Diagnostic Capabilities 🔍 Our advanced diagnostics go beyond traditional tests, providing diagnostic capabilities across over 18 reproductive health conditions and comprehensive insights into reproductive health, fertility, and overall well-being. - Predictive Algorithms 🚀 We utilise state-of-the-art predictive algorithms to anticipate potential health issues, enabling proactive and personalised care. - Data and AI Integration 📊 Harnessing the power of data and AI, we ensure that our testing, consultations, and aftercare are at the forefront of innovation and accuracy. 👉 Our Commitment Hertility Health is committed to reshaping the narrative around women's health. We believe that by focusing on precision diagnostics, we can empower individuals to make informed decisions about their health and well-being. It's time to move beyond the confines of 'Femtech' and embrace the specificity of 'DiagnosTech.' Join us on this journey towards a future where women's health is defined by precision, innovation, and personalised care. Together, let's redefine the conversation around women's health. #DiagnosTech #ReproductiveRevolution #PrecisionDiagnostics #HealthcareInnovation #HertilityHealth #MotherOfAllMovements #FEMPIRE 💙

🚀 We released Pinky Promise v2 this week 🚀. This is one of the most unique and challenging things I have built to date. I am very excited to see it go out into the world. In Jan 2023 Pinky Promise launched a basic version of this product covering three of the most commonly occurring reproductive health issues, and in one year we consulted for over 10K patients. Using many lessons from this, in the last two months we have expanded to 97% of all reproductive healthcare issues. Here are some of the big changes and the technologies behind this: 1. 🏥 Using over 250 of the top medical protocols in the world, carefully curated by our medical team, we are fine-tuning top medical LLM algorithms to create a medical decision making system biased towards women. Our patients come on the app and start by describing their symptoms, and within 5-10 mins of starting they have a Doctor-approved prescription in hand. We track Doctor edits and patient cure-rates to feed data back into this system and keep it improving. 2. 👩🏼⚕️ Once the patient receives the prescription, they are connected with their Doctor over chat throughout their care journey. To enable Doctor's to reply in near-realtime, we have built a Chat-GPT based copilot which suggests answers to all the Patient's questions. 3. 📱 We have rebuilt our app on flutter and is now available on Web, Android and iOS. 4. 💬 One of our biggest learnings so far has been that our target market is most comfortable with "chat". This product has been build on top of DialogFlow as a chatbot. Whether they are describing their symptoms or answering questions about their medical history, or booking tests - they can just chat with us. This sets the stage to seamlessly expand setting to provide instant reatime care on any platform (whatsapp / Alexa / sms) and across languages in the future. This is a launchpad for us. We are fast expanding our offerings to provide tools for the larger medical ecosystem and enable are patients to manage their health in an easy and cohesive manner that is anxiety free and proactive. Indian women don't go to Doctor's (including me). This is a huge step towards changing that. A huge huge shoutout to Divya Balaji Kamerkar, Dr. Reema Shah, Feya Shah, Shreeya Sethi, Anam Sajan, the entire Flair Labs team for pulling this off in record time! Do check it out we would love feedback and to chat about this journey! https://lnkd.in/d2juWaRd

The doctor's responses are quick and empathetic as we have trained a ChatGPT co-pilot for them. 🥇 We have successfully built the first ever consumer facing healthcare app that is able to almost instantly not only provide an 'assessment' of symptoms, but actually connect you to a doctor instantly and ensure you are able to take whatever medicines or care is needed to feel better, thereby closing the care loop with no wait times or uncertainty. 💡 This is just the beginning!
