📃Scientific paper: Endoscopy in Craniosynostosis Surgery: Evolution and Current Trends Abstract: Over the past 30 years, advances in endoscopic technology and advancing interest in the benefits of minimally invasive approaches for craniofacial surgery have resulted in these techniques becoming a part of the standard of care in the treatment of craniosynostosis. In this review, we discuss the evolution and adoption of endoscopic-assisted strip craniectomy procedures. In addition to reviewing the studies describing various nuances and modifications to minimally invasive strip craniectomy, attention to comparisons in outcomes between traditional or open cranial vault reconstructions and endoscopic-assisted techniques is highlighted for different craniosynostosis diagnoses. Robotic surgery is perfect for minimally invasive procedures that are performed through small incisions that do not leave any major scars. In some cases, robotic surgery can also be an alternative to open surgeries, which would require a larger incision and much longer recovery. Although traditional laparoscopy is also an effective surgical method, robotic surgical technology allows surgeons to have better control and precision. We have published a paper on the role of robotic Surgery in Cystectomy for endometrioma. "Ovarian Loss in Laparoscopic and Robotic Cystectomy Compared Using Artificial Intelligence Pathology" There is evidence that there is ovarian and follicular loss during during cystectomy for endometriosis. In our Pilot study, we found that there is significantly less loss of ovarian loss during robotic Cystectomy especially in cases of large cysts or bilateral cysts when compared to cystectomy done with laparoscopy. To our knowledge, this comparison has not been done before. This is a landmark study.
