Video games are now a mainstream activity for Gen Z. Nearly 96% play regularly according to YPulse research. And big games (like FNAF) are stretching beyond actual players. My nephew isn't old enough to play FNAF just yet (or see the movie), but he knows all of the characters and has their toys. even if he's unsure exactly why
What does this mean for you and your brand?
Find out in YPulse's latest Gen Z 101 class -- Playing Games with Gen Z -- on December 5 at 1 p.m. where we'll walk you through how Gen Z is gaming, how gaming impacts Gen Z's digital and IRL experiences, and how brands can get involved.

Five Nights at Freddy's just scared up the biggest global opening ever for a Blumhouse production, thanks to gaming's exploding mainstream popularity.
This PG-13 horrorfest based on the hit video game secured the largest domestic debut for a female director in the genre.
Yet most brands still treat gaming as a niche market, failing to capitalize on its increasing dominance across entertainment. Without collaborating on content, merchandising and experiences, they lose out on organic connections with millions of potential customers.
This oversight is a missed opportunity of epic proportions. Brands that ignore gaming risk irrelevance to a highly engaged, visually attuned demographic. They leave money on the table by not tailoring partnerships and activations to gaming fans’ passions.
The time is now to reset branding strategies and go all-in on thoughtful gaming collaborations. Studios are churning out hits like The Last of Us that expand gaming's audience even further.
Players and non-gamers alike will reward brands who meet them on their terms and enhance the gaming experiences they love.
Read our roundup of everything that had timelines buzzing this week. We break down the key stories and why they struck a chord, along with expert commentary on the trends behind them.

🚀 Last week, G1VE Atlanta embarked on an exciting journey - the design phase of our kiosk development. As we navigated through the process, we faced a significant challenge - ensuring our kiosks meet ADA standards and are accessible to individuals with disabilities. 🚧
We dove deep into the regulations, learning the specific height and width requirements for the kiosks. Our key takeaway? Display height should be between 48-54 inches, overall height should not exceed 6ft, and protrusion should be no more than 4 inches. 📏
This challenge turned into an opportunity for growth, reinforcing the importance of inclusivity in design. It's not just about meeting standards, it's about creating a user-friendly experience for everyone. 🌐
As we step into the new week, we're excited to meet with our kiosk provider, armed with our newfound knowledge. We're ready to begin mockups and bring our vision to life. 🎯
Remember, every challenge is a chance to learn and grow. Embrace it, and let it guide you towards your goals. 💪

Finding My Voice: How Hip-Hop Shaped My Journey to Ubisoft
Hey #LinkedIn community,
Today, I want to share a personal story about how the power of Hip-Hop not only influenced my creative path but also paved the way for a thrilling career journey, leading me to Ubisoft.
In my late teens and early twenties, Hip-Hop became more than just a genre; it became a driving force behind my creativity. Inspired by the rhythmic storytelling and fearless expression in Hip-Hop music, I embarked on a journey to create something impactful.
That journey led me to the creation of the Dutch TV show Urban Lifestyle (check out the link below) that was a fusion of Hip-Hop and "Urban" culture mixed with engaging storytelling. Through this show, I aimed to put a spotlight on how this "movement" was taking over the world by storm.
The process was exhilarating and challenging, requiring relentless dedication and a willingness to step beyond my comfort zone. Just like a Hip-Hop artist crafting powerful verses, I meticulously honed each episode, trying to infuse it with authenticity and a message that resonated with a broader audience.
Little did I know that this creative endeavor would become a pivotal point on my path to Ubisoft. The skills I developed during the show's production, from storytelling to project management, have been essential in my journey into the dynamic world of gaming.
Fast forward to today, and I'm incredibly proud to say that my journey led me to Ubisoft, where I'm fortunate to contribute to the creation of immersive gaming events that captivate and inspire players worldwide. The passion, authenticity, and drive I cultivated from Hip-Hop continue to fuel my work every day.
Hip-Hop taught me that creativity knows no bounds, and with dedication, it can open doors to unexpected opportunities. It taught me that combining diverse elements can result in something truly remarkable—much like the fusion of Hip-Hop culture and gaming.
I'm deeply grateful for the role Hip-Hop has played in shaping my journey. It's a reminder that embracing our passions and channeling them into meaningful projects can lead to incredible outcomes.
Have you experienced a similar fusion of interests in your career journey? How has Hip-Hop, or any other passion, influenced your path? Share your thoughts below. Let's keep the conversation going!
