Hayley Berg and Kiera Haining - Great Webinar! The profile presented of a Gen Z traveller hit many of the facets of why traditional travel for pleasure has dramatically changed. The draw of the polished / highly currated travel has been replaced with the desire to immerse oneself in a destination and focus on the experience. What I find interesting is the amount of time travellers now spend researching destinations and activities. It speaks to a level of enjoyment they glean from planning - perhaps almost as compelling as the travel itself. I wonder if there will be more blended business and pleasure travel itineraries in the future, and if so, how best to support.
